“Jalena was Great!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 February 2014

This hotel was good and served our needs well. The front desk staff did a great job. On more than one occasion, Jalena ( front desk clerk) helped us and gave us great suggestions about local places to eat and helped us with any other questions we had about the area.

We are snowbirds traveling from IL to AZ, and we have stayed here the past four years. Not only is it conveniently located just off of I 40, but the accommodations are wonderful. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and accommodating; and the facilities are clean and well maintained. We had the pleasure of visiting with the manager, Harris Balkin, during breakfast the next morning. He was chatting with each of the guests to make sure that their stay was satisfactory. We had nothing but compliments to give him, and we feel he will continue to keep this particular Express among the top 10 in the nation.

Room Tip: The top floor is the most quiet, and the corner suites are large and comfortable.

Excellent accommodations with a friendly atmosphere and staff. There are many amenities including a pool and exercise room. After a long day of driving, it was a delight to make a reservation by phone and find our room ready. We will stay here again on our trips through Albuquerque.

We stayed here in Dec. While in town for a wedding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us and made us feel right at home. It was refreshing! The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast bar is great and the staff putting the breakfast bar together was very kind. This location was good for us. It is centrally located, so easy to get to other parts of ABQ. it is very close to Old Town which is always nice to visit and check out the shops and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We sort of stumbled across this motel on our return trip from the 2014 Rose Bowl. We were greeted warmly. When asked about dining nearby, we were told of the restaurant at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center across the street. My chicken chili relleno was one of the best ever.
Our room was comfortable, as we've come to expected from Holiday Inn Express.

I spent a night here passing through ABQ in Summer of 2013. I liked it so much that I booked a room here again on our way through to Las Vegas.
Penny at the Front Desk was friendly and welcoming. Once she saw that I was a repeat customer, her smile got even bigger!
The place is really nice, and I love that it is right off I-40 wit a gas station right across the street. If you are headed West through Albuquerque, stay here and head on your way forst thing in the morning, having avoided a TON of morning commuter traffic!!

Room Tip: Spend the few extra dollars on the "Executive Suite"; it is worth it for even more room to...

The room was wonderful and comfortable, the indoor pool was warm, the hot breakfast was unbelievable, the halls were quiet, the manager and front desk people were very friendly and helpful, the workout room was right on my floor, even free cookies and tea (not just coffee) in the room! Lots of little extras that made it the best stay I have ever had at a hotel.

Room Tip: My room was at the end of the hall on third floor near the stairway and was very quiet.

Marilyn H,

I am so happy to hear that you loved all the little touches our hotel offers. Coffee and tea in the room plus available 24/7 in the lobby. Fresh baked cookies in the evening and a friendly staff too. I do hope that you will recommend us to your friends and family and that you will stay with us again soon.
