Great location - steps from Old Town and amazing shopping. We spent just one night here after flying in, and before heading north to Taos. We were very comfortable and had a lovely time. It was a cold night, and Lezle suggested we turn up the hot tub a few degrees before enjoying it -- I appreciated this because hot tubs are not part of my everyday life (and, at her request, returned the temp to its previous setting). The small private courtyard in back is fantastic; in a different season I might have spent my whole stay there. The only drawback here is that the kitchenette is teeny tiny. That said, there's a fridge, coffee makers (and coffee available, thank you very much), hot plate, microwave, so one could prepare meals here. We opted for a short walk into Old Town and had a great meal at the Church Street Cafe, which is another very old adobe building with interesting history. Don't hesitate to book here if it meets your needs -- the bed is GREAT!
My wife and I only stayed one night at the end of our northern NM trip, but would have loved to stay longer. The unit is attached to the main house but only through a hallway/laundry room area and is very quiet. It has a large living room area with a futon that could be used by one or two other people, and a bedroom with a comfy queen bed. The owner's lovely artwork enhances the decor and she is friendly and helpful but unless guests seek more contact after her initial introduction, she leaves them to their privacy. There's also a back patio for relaxing and the unit is within a short walk of Albuquerque Old Town. Great place!
