It's pretty rare that I'm disappointed in a Holiday Inn Express, but this facility is among them. It's not that the hotel is bad, it just isn't up the the usually high standards that I've come to expect from Holiday Inn Express. The Express hotels are most often modern and new. This one is not.

While the lobby, halls, and room were clean, they're just worn out. The sofa was worn, the room was drab, the carpeting was a bit worn, and the bath was about ten years past its better days. The good news is that the toiletries, the circular shower curtain, and the shower head were standard Holiday Inn models and worked fine. The faucet on the sink was well worn and difficult to use. Same with the shower control.

The morning breakfast was also standard Holiday Inn Express, but that is not a bad thing. The service was good and the accommodations were also good.

I was unable to get a good rate on short notice using one of the discount hotel sites, to I booked the room directly with Holiday Inn. The midtown facility was about ten dollars less per night compared to the other Holiday Inn Express rooms, so I thought I was getting a bargain. Instead, I felt ripped off.

This facility should not be a Holiday Inn Express.

Stayed one night at this property during an East/West cross country trip. Staff was friendly, property was clean. I was a bit disappointed with the room/suite. It was large with a refrigerator, microwave, sink area, couch, desk area, but it was a bit dated and had a 32" tube tv. The shower/toilet area was very small. When you step out of the shower you only have about 2 feet of open space because the toilet takes up the rest. The vanity/sink area was larger but outside of the shower area. Wifi is free but I had limited or no connectivity the whole time so I was unable to use it. This property has an outdoor pool, fitness center and laundry area. Applebee's is right across the parking lot. This property offers free breakfast with many choices. The room has a window ac unit that is very close to the bed which provided for a nice knee bruise in the middle of the night. I would not stay at this property again if I was to visit this area. Having stayed at a Holiday Inn every night for a week in a different city, I found the room to be quite different than the others.

Stayed at this hotel while on a business trip in January. Was a decent place to stay. The hotel was clean looking. The room was very large, plent of space to move around in; it had a desk, couch and wet bar with a refrigator and microwave. Only drawbacks was the bathroom was a bit on the small side and the bed felt as if it was ready for replacement. Elevator service was a bit on the slow side for being such a small hotel. Breakfast each morning was good and the hostess that was handling it was friendly and helpful. The fitness room was decent with a few cardio machines and a weight machine. Pool was closed due to cold weather so I did not get a chance to use it. The is an Applebees across the parking lot but if you are looking for more options you will have to drive to get to them since there is nothing within walking distance. If you are planning on going to casinos or to downtown, it was only about a 10-15min drive from the hotel. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay there again if I am in the area.

Stayed here with colleague when on business in Albuquerque in January 2012. Have stayed here three times previously and always found the hotel staff really helpful and pleasant. Rooms are spotless and well proportioned with coffee maker fridge and microwave, Laundry facility on site and also gym facility. Theres an Applebees directly opposite which is standard Applebees american fayre and good value for money. Hotel is near the interstate,
Standard Holiday Inn breakfast included with juices, muffins, cereal and hot buffet. A pleasant 'no nonsense' quiet hotel ideal for families and business people alike. There is a small pool although it was too cold to use when we were there

We stayed here a few nights on the way to Phoenix. The staff is very friendly and the shuttle service is nice. We took the Rail Runner train to Santa Fe. The hotel shuttle dropped us off and picked us up. Also, took us out to the Bio Park and Zoo which is very nice. There is an Applebee's next door which is also convenient.

The rooms were pretty clean and it's conveniently located by the interstate.
