“A must see when in the historic old town area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

We stopped at the San Felipe de Neri Church while walking around old town one afternoon. The inside of the church is beautiful and is a calming experience after dealing with the vendors in the square. This is a very old church but has been kept in beautiful condition. After dark, you can get some great pictures of the church as it is well lit.
Be sure to stop by the gift shop, they have some unusual things for sale and the ladies working there are knowledgeable and very friendly.

“Beautiful old church still active in its mission”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2013

We relaxed in the calm pews and beautiful space inside San Felipe as the priests were getting ready for evening mass. Unpretentious, light, and airy, the history of this church and the many years it has served worshippers gives the place a sacredness and grounding that is special.

Nice to see the cathedral of Albuquerque still a working parish. The gift shop had a very large selection of santos, milagros, crucifixes and other gifts.

“Beautiful church in the heart of Old Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2013

San Felipe de Neri anchors the center of Old Town. It provides an authenticity that sometimes gets lost amidst the historic buildings that now house souvenir shops. The church itself is beautiful and nice to visit.

“Center of Old Town”

A beautiful church with a rich history in ABQ. The church and grounds are maintained perfectly. There is a gift shop next to the church that has wonderful religious items to purchase.
