There are many stations for visitors to learn with hands-on exhibits. It would be nice if there were adults only hours.

Attended a special adult evening event recently. We enjoyed the exhibits even as adults! Need to have a few hours to see it all. Check out the elevator! It actually has a couch and a couple chairs in it!

We spent an afternoon at Explora. My six-year-old loved it! He especially enjoyed all the water hands on activities(might want to bring an extra shirt). The elevator is a must even though they have a sign that says only use if you can't use the stairs. We spent about three hours there, and we all had a ball! The only downsize is the helpers were a little too helpful at first, and my son didn't like that. They were just trying to help us understand each exhibit, but it was like a clerk in the clothing store that follows you while you are looking. Once the place became busier, this wasn't an issue! I would recommend this as a fun day if activity for all!

This is a wonderful place to have right here in Albuquerque. A must for the yearly membership. We do the kids camps throughout the year and that alone is worth the value. The place has so much exploration opportunities for the kiddos, and adults too! They can stay busy for hours. We did a birthday party here once, and were very happy with it. You get a party host the entire time that attends to all you and your guests needs. They do face painting, pizza, a wacky science project of your choice, and the best gift bags I've seen at a kids party. Anyway, highly recommend this place not just for a day out, but for the camps and parties too!
