“Best tour we have ever taken”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013

My husband and I wanted to get out into the country while we were in New Mexico, so we booked the 6 hour tour based on the descriptions on their website. The tour owner, Roch Hart, was our guide. He gave us the tour of our life. We saw native american sites, petroglyphs, a coal mine ghost town, a Spanish land grant ruin, native and invasive plants, wintering birds, ancient sea bed fossils, and several herds of wild horses. He tailored the trip to our interests and took us far afield to see sites that fit our interests. We were able to go right into the sites and see the ruins and artifacts up close. Throughout the trip, Roch impressed us with his vast knowledge and love of the land. The tour was all conducted on a privately held ranch outside of Albuquerque. We recommend this trip to anyone who has a day to spend in New Mexico.

“Seeing New Mexico in its Natural State”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2013

There are few opportunities to see this country as it must have existed 150 (or 300 or more) years ago. This is one of those rare oppoturnities. We had a 6+ hour archeological dig tour -- excavating a small pueblo hut which was used for tending fields hundreds of years ago. What an adventure, and what an opportunity to learn about he history and culture of this special place. An extra treat was encountering a heard of wild horses, and being able to approach within 10 feet of these beautiful creatures. This experience was worth every penny of the cost. It gave us a lifetime of memories --- and photos I'd do it all over again in a heart beat. .

“Best part of ABQ”

The only way to see the desert. Roch was an awesome tour guide and was full of history. We got this close to a herd of wild horses. The best part is telling the guide what you're interested in and he'll let you do just that.

“An Adventure Worth Every Penny!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2013

There are not a lot of things worth every penny in this world, but this jeep tour is absolutely worth every penny. The 6 hour + tour was exciting, exhilarating and extremely educational. The views were intoxicating and actually finding artifacts that had been unearthed from recent floods connected us with the incredible history of this area. The jeeps provided are incredibly well built and tough enough to stand up to the rough terrain. With the gorgeous New Mexico sunshine, the tops were lowered and the views became even more astonishing. My group consisted of four jeeps with three to four people in each, one of which was our tour guide. Tom was the expert driver of the Jeep I was in and his wealth of knowledge and love of the land were inspiring. We made many stops during the tour - wild horses, petroglyphs, plants, ghost towns, mines, remnants of Indian villages, and even a picnic lunch. The stops gave all the guides opportunities to enthrall us with their own expertise and the Jeep radios provided us with constant communication with the other Jeeps, not to mention the occasional quips of humor shared between the guides which was entertaining in itself! The Jeep climbs and descents were so much fun. There were some incredible feats going up and down mountains and following river beds but at no time did I not feel safe. I left the tour feeling sad it was over, even after a long day, but I also felt a spiritual renewment and connection with a past that I never thought possible. Roch, thank you for providing us this incredible opportunity - you truly rock! Sunscreen, visor and camera are highly recommended. Privacy and portable toilets are also provided whenever needed.

“Best Day in New Mexico”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

Frank was an amazing tour guide who knew a lot about the area. He took us all over the dessert off roading in a jeep and he explains everything as you go along. Anyone in the area that has the opportunity to do the jeep tour should take it. You will love it.
