Enjoyed everything about this hotel experience. Every employee greets you with a friendly smile and goes out of their way to assist you. Every area of the hotel is immaculate, both inside and out. The fresh citrus and herb infused ice water in the lobby is very much appreciated. The rooms are spacious, updated and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious with frameless glass showers, hair dryer, magnified make-up mirror, nice soaps and shampoos, thick generously-sized towels and comfortable terry robes. Appreciate the cubby-like shelves for storage of toiletries and there is a subtley hidden night light underneath the sink counter. Thermostat is accurate and silent. Mini frig works great and safe is available for locking up valuables. Windows open to fresh air if you like and room-darkening shades and drapes keep the hot sun out if desired. Fresh coffee and tea available on each floor in the center area each morning. Wish tea was available at night. Complementary breakfast is excellent with several fresh juices, quiche, amazing pastries, freshly cut up melons and fruit, cereals, oatmeal, coffee, tea. We enjoyed eating outside on the beautiful patio where they have tables w umbrellas for shade, a lovely stone fountain and wooden rocking chairs. The hotel is pet friendly which initially concerned me because I have allergies but Molly, the hotel dog is a delight and well-behaved and I hardly noticed any other pets. There are specific rooms designated for pets and all the rest are pet-free. There is a nice little outdoor hot tub, no pool. The exercise room is about the only thing I would suggest needs a little help. It's small and in a basement-like room with a dank odor. However the equipment is there for those who want it. This is the only hotel I will stay in when l come to albuquerque. We slept great and were completely comfortable and relaxed.

Room Tip: Prefer side that is not overlooking highway but not a big deal either way. Was not bothered by any n...

I used to live in Albuquerque and would admire the architecture of the old railroad hospital on my commute everyday. So I was dying to see what the hotel did with the building. Location is not the best as transients range up and down Central from the University to Downtown. However, the hotel is lovely inside and there was no concern about crime. The bar on the roof is incredible, as is the view.
The room we stayed in was a bit small (think hospital rooms), but what it lacked in size was made up for by the decor, cleanliness, and the comfort of the bed. It was incredibly quiet considering the proximity to the Interstate.
The courtyard in the back was beautiful and much like an oasis. We had our breakfast out there. There is a large selection of pastries and the coffee is very good. I was not impressed with the quiche and would have hoped for some other egg options that reflect New Mexico .

Dear Renee B,
Thank you tremendously for being our guest here at Hotel Parq Central. It is always nice when a visitor remembers the edifice prior to its renovation into our beloved hotel. Keep in mind our breakfast menu is consistently transforming in an effort to meet our guest’s ever changing needs and tastes. But we agree; no one does eggs like they do here in New Mexico! Our hope is that you visit our hotel again as soon as possible as it is always a pleasure to host guests as nice as you. All the best and hope to see you again. –Matthew Troche

Exceptionally clean, beautiful and hip hotel. Glad we stayed there but won't be back again when visiting ABQ. We had 3 rooms for two nights and upon arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded (their idea of an upgrade) to a king & sofa bed room when we specifically reserved and were promised two dbl beds. So imagine paying 194++ each night for this upgraded room and having full-sized adults having to flip a coin to see who loses and gets to sleep on the very uncomfortable sofa bed. It was miserably uncomfortable. We could get no assistance or solution at the front desk though we tried twice. They were polite but with robot like listening skills.
The other two rooms were king beds so no issues there except I would be vigilent with young children on the scissor-like glass shower doors.

Room Tip: Very secure property, elevator and stairwell require key so with multiple rooms, try to get your gro...

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it has been beautifully renovated- it's simply gorgeous. Fabulous spacious bathroom. The hotel has an interesting past- as a hospital for various medical issues. You will be fascinated. There are several excellent restaurants within a few blocks walking distance. And do not forget to have a drink on the roof top lounge at sunset. it's a great deal- and comes with breakfast. Wish I could have stayed longer.

This is a beautiful, recently renovated hotel (which used to be a hospital). Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. There's a 24 hour fitness center and fresh coffee on the floor in the morning. Very reasonably priced for a great hotel. Highly recommended

We chose this hotel because we like hisorical places and this was a renovated 1926 hospital. We loved the grey and white walls, the cleanliness, wide hallways and hospital artifacts in glass cases. Since it was a hot day we welcomed the lemon-infused cold water container in the lobby (a nice touch). We appreciated the help from all the staff, especially Grey, who drove us to Old Town in the courtesy van. Instead of eating in Old Town we opted for the happy hour that included discounted appetizers and drinks in the fantastic Apothecary Lounge. I want to mention the chrome and white bathroom, the luscious robes and plump pillows and comfortable beds. There were cubbies in the bathroom that met out needs and we were two women. So many hotels aren't giving complimentary breakfasts so we welcomed this one - not perfect but suffiicent and convenient. We loved every aspect of this hotel and I'm probably forgetting a lot of things I should write about. Try it, you won't be disapointed.

Probably the closest to a Ritz Carlton in Albuquerque, but more intimate. Had a suite which was overlooking the hot tub; compact but well laid out and comfortable. No tub but a generous walkin shower. Stairs make it easier to get around than the elevator. Highly accommodating friendly staff, staff ready and willing to help with luggage on arrival and departure, very good coffee in the hall ( so you don't have to mess with water and coffee grounds in the room), lovely brunch room. We'll gladly stay again. Only negatives were reservation communication with Gray. I changed dates some weeks in advance, to dates they weren't sold out, and was supposed to get the Spring discount, was told he'd,emailed his supervisor and would get back to me. Never did. Gray checked us in and I raised the issue a couple times and eventually got a rate almost the Spring rate. Not a big deal but it made checking much less pleasant than it had to be. Would like to have used the hot tub but it has no protection from wind from the west, which I think is the direction wind comes from most often in that area. Otherwise beautiful grounds and inviting public spaces, we look forward to seeing again.

Room Tip: No noise on west end suite overlooking the garden and hot tub.
