“The best hotel in ABQ! Incredible staff, spacious rooms, beautiful modern design”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

The Hotel Parq Central is an absolute dream every time I stay there. I am constantly in ABQ for business travel and the HPQ is a home away from home. Aside from beautiful facilities, spacious rooms, modern design, a fantastic upstairs bar and patio with a great view for watching sunsets, the staff is the star of the show. They go out of their way to help you with anything and everything you could need. The hotel shuttle will transport you to and from the airport or really anywhere within a few miles of the hotel. Meetings rooms are spacious and are fully equipped to serve as a home for base office while in ABQ. The morning breakfast is included with the room rate and is fantastic. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

While attending the flamenco festival, I stayed in the physicians' quarters for six nights. It was nice unless someone was in the room above me, so I recommend staying on the second floor there.
The staff was kind, helpful and quick. I used the complimentary shuttle service a couple of times, and that was great, too. Breakfast was included, and it was quite pleasant to sit outside in the pretty courtyard in the morning. Spend an evening at the rooftop bar. The food is okay there. You may want to walk to west on Central to Farina's for a nice pizza and salad first. The hotel is in a great location with several good dining options within walking diatance. Also, it is a little more than a mile from UNM.

Room Tip: Stay on second floor if you stay in the physicians' quarters.

Dear Tanya T,
We hope your time at the flamenco festival was absolutely memorable and want to thank you so very much for making us part of your New Mexico experience. Thank you as well for taking the time to highlight some of the local eateries in our vicinity. Farina, amongst others, makes our location a true food connoisseurs’ paradise.
Our hope is that the noise from the upstairs room did not spoil your stay, as traditionally our residence is the one of the most serene locations here at the hotel. Please contact me directly should we ever get the chance again to act as your host and we will make sure you are placed in the perfect room for your needs. Hope to see you again soon, and all the best.-Matthew Troche

Stayed here with two friends while on a girls' getaway weekend to New Mexico. We loved everything about the hotel: the historic building, tasteful decor, attention to detail, friendly staff, and of course, the affordable price! Great way to start our visit to the Land of Enchantment. I highly recommend happy hour at the rooftop Apothecary Lounge; we enjoyed the view and some very tasty appetizers and cocktails!

Dear MarshaMellow,
It’s always a treat when we are allowed the pleasure to help play a part in a relaxing “girls’ weekend out”. We in fact enjoy it so much that we recently created a package specifically geared at creating a weekend groups both large and small are sure to enjoy. The package is called “Girls Night Out” and includes a buyout of one of our buildings, drinks, and all the other perks of staying at the best hotel in the city.
Thank you so kindly for taking the time to let us know about your fun weekend here at HPC. We truly hope we get a chance to host you yet again. All the best.-Matthew Troche

This old hospital turned hotel is beautifully redone. A neat historic building. The rooms, although not huge, were comfortable and had wonderful light from the old windows. The bathroom, was large. The ground floor outdoor space was nice for reading or talking and the hot tub was adequate and attractively landscaped. The included breakfast was decent with quiche and super fresh fruit. There is an excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance. But.....the real gem of this hotel is the rooftop bar; probably one of the best hotels bars I've seen. Just beautiful at night with the view of downtown and the stars. Absolutely, definitely will come back again.

We visited Albuquerque as part of a CO and NM trip in which it was the easiest airline connection. This is a unique place in the area. The building has been beautifully remodeled from a 1920's hospital. This is also the cleanest hotel I have seen. Much of the decor is white and every area is spotless. The rooms are well laid out and conveniently arranged. The staff is very helpful.

My husband and I really like boutique hotels, this one is no exception. Clean facilities and friendly staff. The hotel is pet friendly, and has a nice roof top bar. There a several great restaurants within walking distance. For Travelers from out of state wishing to stay in Albuquerque and visit Santa Fe this is a great choice there is a rail runner station just 5 blocks away.

I can see why this is the number one hotel in Albuquerque. The room was very modern the air conditioning was nice and cool and the beds were comfortable. The rooftop lounge was so beautiful. The food was good and watching the sunset was so delightful.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the courtyard
