Great location to get around Albquerque, comfortable beds, great breakfast, and a rooftop sunset with a margarita, whats not to love? This place really stresses customer service and quality at a fair price.

Dear Michael W,
You are absolutely right; customer service is above all our highest concern here at Hotel Parq Central! Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your time here in Albuquerque. Keep in mind, we are constantly crafting new margaritas recipes, and our hope is that you make a second trip to the Apothecary Lounge if possible and give them a sample! Hope to see you soon and all the best. We truly do appreciate you being our guest at HPC! -Matthew Troche

We stayed at Hotel Parq Central for a wedding over 4th of July weekend. The entire hotel is very stylish and feels much more posh than the room rate would imply. The staff was very helpful -- even correcting a drink charge that wasn't ours off of our bill without a fuss. The hotel is right next to the highway but you can't really hear it in the rooms. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the courtyard instead of the front of the hotel. Less noise from the high...

The Hotel Parq Central is simply a fantastic place. Beautiful boutique-style hotel with nice rooms and incredibly professional and courteous staff. The location is also convenient...close to the freeways and right down the street from the Univ of New Mexico and a variety of restaurants and other businesses.

Would definitely stay there again.

When I researched hotels in Albuquerque the parc central stood apart and it did not disappoint. Other boutique hotels could take some lessons from this classy establishment. We drove with our 2 daughters from Toronto to the Grand Canyon and chose to stay here on our 4th night. The location is right off the highway in a nice section of town. Nob hill was a 5 minute drive and it was fun to explore. This hotel is incredibly unique in that it is a renovated former hospital. You could definitely imagine the building for that use. It was spotless and decorated beautifully with great attention to detail. The staff were lovely and the apothecary lounge on the 4th floor was awesome! We had a double room which was quite tiny but sufficient for one night. They did what they could to maximize the space. The ironing board was under the bed! And there were no dust bunnies! There was no coffee maker but coffee was set out in the am on each floor. And there was a washer and dryer on each floor! Very unusual for this class of hotel. The breakfast room was bright and large and the offering was perfect. We re-arranged our return trip to stay at parc central the following week. We loved the city and hope to return.

First of all, the good. This property is beautiful and quite comfortable. The staff were excellent. The rooftop lounge was quirky and fun. The rooms are lovely, and ours was a suite that was comfortable in spite of being tightly packed with furniture. Now, the bad. It lacks amenities - no swimming pool, and virtually no exercise facilities (a small space in the basement is not much better than just exercising in your room). The breakfast selection looks really good, but tastes less than average. It was all bland and pre-made. Various sweet rolls and breads, fruit, yogurt, and the same two quiches every day. If you stay more than one night, you will want to go somewhere else for breakfast, and for the price, that is disappointing. It was the worst thing about our stay. There is only one small elevator, and in the evening, it is shared with the public going up and down to the lounge. This is also true for parking. If you come in at night, you may have trouble parking if the lounge crowd is already there. The location is right next to the freeway in an older part of town, which did not bother us at all, but might others.

Parq Central Hotel is always perfect. The staff is professional and attentive. The rooms are extremely comfortable and modern while also paying respect to the history of buildings past. Additionally there are pet friendly rooms which is a great bonus. The property grounds are a lush oasis in the downtown of Albuquerque. The rooftop lounge is a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy the city views.

The Parq Central has for a few years been our favorite hotel when we travel to Albuquerque. Generally the accommodations are first rate with interesting design features and very comfortable rooms. But this time we had a room where the air conditioning clearly would not operate, which was problematic with daytime temperatures around 95 degrees. When we told the desk about the problem, they said that they would fix it, but never even came up to our room to look at the problem. Then the next morning we told the manager about the oversight and he too simply ignored our complaints. Too bad, because we always look forward to staying at the Parq during our frequent trips to Albuquerque. Come on, Parq Central, you need to be more responsive to your customers!

Dear Bill-Jenny2004,
We are so sad such loyal guests had a disappointing experience here at Hotel Parq Central. Please know that we do have a state of the art heating and cooling system and it is incredibly frustrating that we were unable to facilitate the optimal temperature for your visit. Please know this type of situation is rare and should you ever choose to stay with us again we will do our very best to see that every aspect of your stay is entirely perfect. Furthermore, we will see to it that any issues that may arrive are in the future address in a more concise manner. Thank you for letting us know about this unfortunate situation, and we truly hope to see you pass through our front door again. All the best. –Matthew Troche
