Stopped in on a Saturday night, decided to sit out on the patio because it was a beautiful day out. Got a shredded beef quesadilla that was very tasty. LOVED their french fries, perfectly done, not underdone, not crispy & burned. The fry bar was great, choices hard. The server was superb, very personable and very good at what he did. We will be returning in the future to try some street tacos!

While perusing through Old Town, we pulled up TA and found the Quesadilla Grill. Since my son considers quesadillas to be the 6th food group, we thought we'd give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised.

We each ordered a different quesadilla. Each one was huge and flavorful. And we thought it was a great value - including a side dish and a drink.

We would strongly recommend the fries as a side. They are handcut, huge, and great. And the fry bar included a number of sauces to enjoy them with. The chips and salsa were disappointing in comparison - the salsa was very plain and disappointing. But those fries - oh boy!

This is a small, family run place. It's very clear that they care about their customers. We enjoyed talking with the owner and her son.

Definitely try this hidden gem!

My visit to Old Town ABQ was a little underwhelming overall but I really, really enjoyed my lunch here. I sat outside on the patio under the stairs.

I ordered the Carne Adovado Street Tacos and they were delicious! Perfectly seasoned, tender, limey and just a bit spicy form the raw onions.

I also ordered a "wine margarita" and it was delicious - made with agave wine (never heard of it) and fresh limes. The waitress explained what it was to me and I was game. It was really, really good and refreshing.

Decent lunch place in Albuquerque's old town. The place is premised on the idea that the quesadilla has graduated from an appetizer to a legitimate main course. Consequently, the menu has 15 quesadillas and not much else (5 or 6 taco options). It's mom & pop operation and service can get overwhelmed. Portions are definitely main course size -essentially if a normal quesadilla is one large tortilla folded over, this is one on the bottom and one on top. Food was ok - kids loved the street tacos, 2 quesadilla were bland, one (beef) was very good. No liquor, so no margarita etc.. -beer and wine are available. Reasonable prices

Enjoyed great. Street Tacos and quesadills. Comfy atmosphere and great service. All waiters should be as nice and attentive as Leroy. Only suggestion would be to have some background music.
