I have had the pleasure of staying at or participating in activities or festivies at Los Poblanos many times. It is a lovely place to stay, always friendly, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic. If you want to have an extraordinary experience in Albuquerque, and feel like an insider, this is the place for you.
I went to a family wedding and rehearsal dinner here that was so special, from the food to the service and the venue, everything was perfect.

If you appreciate quality you will love this Inn. The salt water pool, the fabulous food, and the friendly staff are only some of the great things about this hotel. You can sit out on the patio, eat fresh organice produce grown 50 feet away and watch the four resident Peacocks stroll by. Even the pull out couch for the kids was great. It was a sturdy leather couch with a great mattress not the flimsy broken down thing we usually get. My kids did not want to leave. The woman taking of the care animals let them feed the baby goats and patiently answered the endless stream of the "How do they?" questions. It was a really relaxing and rejuvenating experience we hope to repeat soon.

We stayed a single night here during the course of a cross-country road trip with our toddler. After days of chain motels and fast food, we were pretty excited to arrive and stay somewhere a little different and definitely more boutique. The location is great - about as close to downtown Albuquerque that you can expect a working farm to be - and the property is beautiful, rustic and quiet if you don't mind occasional animal noises.

Our newer Farm Room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a sparse, minimalist style which suited us perfectly, and the bed, furniture and amenities were all very comfortable. On the downside, the plumbing seemed a bit weak and there didn't seem to be enough hot water to really enjoy the lovely shower and soaker tub.

The organic breakfast is one of the property's claims to fame, and we personally enjoyed it, although it is a little more haute and a little less large than your typical B&B or hotel breakfast - so it's easy to see how some guests might find it disappointing. The staff went out of their way to prepare something basic for our little one, which was appreciated.

There really isn't that much to do here other than walk the property, visit the animals, play a quick game of bocce ball, and read on the porch. There is a small pool, but it wasn't open as we stayed quite early in the season. For our family, it was more than fine for a day or two, and the sort of environment we like to expose our son to, but we can see how this accomodation might not appeal to everyone.

Snowkarver - thank you for your review! We really enjoyed having you stay here with your family. Our new Farm rooms feature on-demand hot water heaters, that are more efficient and provide hot water upon request. We looked at the unit in the room you stayed in, and a small repair was required. Thank you for letting us know: now the heater is working perfectly! Our new saltwater pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day - we hope that you can enjoy it on your next visit! Please feel free to contact me direcly with any other questions or comments.

With best regards,

Nancy Kinyanjui, Inn Manager

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the inn. We were in the Greeley 1 room, which has a separate living room, kitchen area, bedroom and large bathroom. It was nice having the extra room as we stayed 3 nights. It is located adjacent to the beautiful rose garden. It was a very quiet room - we were not at all bothered by the peacocks.

The inn feels very isolated from the busy town, which makes for a peaceful stay, and yet it is within a couple of miles of Old Town so is quite convenient. We were a bit concerned that it would be too far from the main sites, but that wasn’t the case. The inn and grounds are beautiful and a real joy to explore. It was hard to tear ourselves away to visit the attractions of Albuquerque! The staff was very helpful with restaurant and siteseeing recommendations, and were as nice as they could be. We had excellent dinners at Seasons, and Casa Vieja in the adjacent town of Corrales.

The breakfasts were some of the best we’ve ever had at a B&B. We were fortunate to enjoy 3 of them! The ingredients are from the farm, so are fresh and very flavorful. We especially appreciated the healthy preparations. The main dish was accompanied by fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, delicious homemade breads and cakes, and organic coffee and tea. We were not hungry for several hours afterwards.

You can’t go wrong staying here. We will certainly return the next time we are in Albuquerque.

Room Tip: The rooms vary, so call before booking.

We were looking for an interesting small hotel on our way back from Santa Fe where we could relax for the evening and head to the airport the following morning. Los Poblanos was perfect. It is a rustic and beautiful little gem in Albequerque.

Room Tip: We stayed in Meem #2. It was lovely.
