One of the best vacations in memory -- LP is incredible. The staff was so accommodating, the grounds are beautiful too. Our room balenced the charm of an historic inn with the kind of amenities that made us feel comfortable. And the chef made the best chicken dinner ever -- I think it was Pollo Real. I wish we had booked an extra couple of days. Can't wait to go back!!!

An absolutely fabulous experience. The perfect getaway. Everyone we encountered was dedicated to making our stay wonderful. The rooms are beautiful. The pool, the farm and grounds in general gave our little one all the entertainment she needed while we were able to enjoy the surroundings and relax. We attended a wedding which was just amazing. The food was outstanding and the service second to none. Thank you everyone for taking care of us.. We can't wait to go back!

Coming from Chicago, this was just what I needed! Beautiful rooms, grounds, food and service! We were there for a wedding and it was top notch! Perfect weather also helped, but it was the service that made it memorable! The owner penny was so friendly and happy to welcome you and the manager Nancy ensured a great trip! I will definitely be returning!

An enchanting and unusual type of
Setting for a vacation or a retreat,
We stayed in the new farm cabins,
Over the top in style and decor. Very "dwellish" and lovely.
Dining room served lovely evening
Small plates, the breakfast far more substantial, mostly sourced from the farm itself, creatively cooked and delicious!!
No end to things to do. Saline pool state of art workout room, bocce, reading room. Will appeal to all those who like living large, but not ostentatiously, amidst a farm with organic gardens, goats, chickens
Clientele has sought out los poblanos, they did not just find it
In a standard guide, and their demographic stands out

My family and I have just returned from the wedding of friends held at the Los Poblanos Inn. We stayed for three days at what is in our opinion one of the finest Inn's we have ever had the pleasure to visit. Set in the Rio Grande valley a short drive from downtown Albuquerque, this property offers a truly unique setting of formal gardens, lavender, and a small working farm.

Management and staff have found a way to combine a small Inn (21 rooms) with the capability to host medium to large weddings seamlessly and without losing the feel and charm of this historic farm setting. The reception was extremely well managed, the food was superb and creative, and the service outstanding.

As former Innkeepers ourselves, we know that the property, while important to the overall experience, is not enough to be considered a world-class Inn. The staff at Los Poblanos is what elevates this property to the highest level. Inn manager Nancy, Chef Jay (fabulous food), and Steve in the farm shop all do a wonderful job of making guests feel at home. After three days with these fine professionals, their passion for both their guests and their craft was clear to see.

We departed Los Poblanos relaxed, rested, and very well fed. We highly encourge you to do the same on your next visit to Albuquerque or Sante Fe.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Greely 1 suite, and our adult daughters in Farm suite 8. Both rooms were what we c...

A unique vacation experience. Escaped from this year's miserable Seattle spring and summer to New Mexico for some rays. Spent three nights at this place. An ideal, experience for our family.
PROS:
Set on a small farm, amongst historic buidings, this place is truly unique. Exploring the many buildings and gardens was a pleasant way to while away the time with the kids.
The guest rooms were great...we had a "Farm Suite" which was only a few years old, simply but tastefully decorated in farm style.
Great, simple pool with good shade areas.
Wonderful breakfasts, with excellent service. Not the trashy "food" you get at some hotels.
The farm barn. Probably the highlight for the kids (6 and 4). The farm staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our kids could help tend to the animals. They even got the opportunity to bottle feed the baby goat kids in the morning and collect fresh eggs for breakfast. Unexpectely, our kids were also fascinated by the irrigation canals, and various other quirks of the farm.
Fast and free internet.
Free bikes for expolring the semi-rural surrounds.
CONS.
These are minor. If I could have I would give the place 4.5 stars.
The room did have a freezer (although it did have a great fridge) or a microwave. I wish we had the opportunity to have a dinner at this place..unfortunately we did not have enough time.
The bikes need a little TLC.
The office staff can be a little hard to find sometime. Having Tivoli bedside radios, although classy looking, are impractical.

Other thoughts.

Although this place is listed as a B&B, it's more like a hotel with included breakfast.
The inn seems to be in the process of rejuvenation. I expect the property to get better and better in time. There aren't a huge number of guests for such a large property.....i hope it is successful, it certainly deserves to be.

Room Tip: The farm suites (esp. 1 and 2) seem ideal for families.

Yikes - this is long over due but definitely worth writing. I run a nonprofit in Jackson, Mississippi that provides opportunities and experiences for children who attend public elementary school in Jackson. One of our programs is called Wisdom Across America and we take fifth graders to see culturally significant places in the United States.

In June we took five, fifth grade girls across the country. Los Poblanos Inn was our second stop on an eleven day journey. It was also one of the most memorable experiences for the girls. Despite seeing the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, and the Gore Range they are still talking about the two days and one night at the Los Poblanos Inn.

It is a beautiful property rich in history and restored architectural detail but it is so well done that you are not overwhelmed by it., The red peppers hanging outside the main house, the large wooden doors, interior courtyard with fountain and the culturally significant art pieces located around the house make for a tour though old world New Mexico that is unlike anything you will ever get at a Marriott Resort.

The strolling gardens are magnificent, the pond a work of landscape architecture genius and the organic farm is a true labor of love and dedication. Every detail of the property has been meticulously and carefully managed in a successful effort to make their guests have a genuine sense of the old world. Peacocks roam the property in their splendor, crying out with their signature screeches of love, lavender blooms in the fields and the stars shine like fireworks in the night sky. Every detail of the landscape, and the main house make this the only place you should think about staying while in Albaquerque.

The food is fantastic, the chef is a geniuos and the staff goes out of their way to make sure that you are happy. Sitting on the patio for breakfast with a huge cup of coffee and homemade, produce that comes straight from the garden is a delicious way to start the day, can you imagine yellow beet hash and eggs that have been harvested and gathered an hour before you sat down? Welcome to Los Poblanos.

All of the rooms are comfortable with fireplaces and wonderfully cozy beds. They are clean and have modern bathrooms.

The pool is private and peaceful. The girls loved the pool and it was a great way to spend the afternoon after a day of shopping and sight seeing, WE also loved sitting in the courtyard at night, looking at the stars.

We had a tour of the garden, and given the girls' experiences in our own Wisdom teaching garden, they were excited about all the new things that they saw and the new information they gathered.

Do not miss the gift shop it is fantastic. We all got lavender soaps and lavished the smell all the way across the country. I don't think that we will ever smell lavender again without thinking of our experience at Los Poblanos Inn.

This was my second trip to the Inn and each time it gets better and better. Can't wait to get back there with my husband for a romantic escape.

Thanks everyone for an amazing experience.

Room Tip: All are great!!
