So... The wife loves alpacas. I wasn't too fond of them until I went to see them here at Albuquerque Alpacas. They're a different type of cool fuzzy little animals. Not only did we enjoy feeding and viewing an afternoon in the life of these animals; we were able to learn more about them in an informative tour. I missed my dogs while we were out in New Mexico... But coming here made it not as bad lol. Definitely a "must do" thing to do while visiting Albuquerque.
You have to call to set an appointment and the owners are very responsive and good to call back in a timely manner.
The owners also don't charge for admission.. There's donation and gift shop encouragement though... And trust me.. They're deserving enough to charge admission, but they are such good people that they probably would never tag a price to show of their "kids".
Check them out and enjoy.. It'll be worth it.
