Sunday evening dinner was a very pleasant experience. Easy parking, not crowded, nice ambiance, friendly waitress who gave good advice when questioned about the food. Because it is a chain, and because they have to fly in the fish, this restaurant is priced on the higher side of Albuquerque restaurants, but no more so than other chains. Dinner for 2 with a wine and a beer and one dessert was $80.00 with tip. My mahi mahi (broiled) with Pontrechrain topping was worth a visit in itself- just scrumptious. The rice pilaf was a nice accompaniment. The broccoli was too undercooked- very hard almost raw- but that is better than overcooked for me. My husband had the special 4 course dinner with calamari (average, but fine), salad, fried fish and shrimp with French fries (nice and crispy, not soggy), and dessert (crème brulee- very good). All that for $20.00- a good bargain. The sauvignon blanc wine was very good and so was the beer- Fat Tire on draft. Best of all was the lack of noise, so this is a nice place to take older people who like to dine in peaceful environments.
