Our Thanksgiving Dinner at Gardunos in The Hotel Albuquerque was so nice!
It was a really pleasant surprise. The dinner was very good, and the service was
perfect! No one felt as if they'd missed a home-made holiday meal!
Our waiter Eddie was wonderful, very attentive, and the Manager Nicole stopped by to chat and make sure everything for our Holiday dinner was great.

Garduño’s has about 5-6 locations in New Mexico. We’ve eaten only at the three Albuquerque restaurants over a 10-year period, but on the latest occasion we (at least 12 of us in the extended family) ate at the Old Town establishment. The quality has varied with time and location, but this most recent experience was quite good. To start, the slightly pricier margaritas were very good, while the house margarita was merely OK. The menu is nicely varied with several Mexican dishes, with New Mexican, i.e., local, dishes predominating. The level of spiciness desired is part of the order. Most dishes were in the very good-to-excellent range, and we had quite a variety of different dishes. Service was also cheerful and capable, with one minor glitch: the sopapillas were not served when the main dishes came out but came almost as dessert (not quite since we asked about them). It seems that particular Garduño’s may have been too heavily influenced by tourists who may have had sopapillas served as dessert in Mexican restaurants outside of the Southwest. I know that they are always (for many decades at least) served with the meal in New Mexico and other Four Corners’ states. In short, we would certainly return to this particular Garduño’s.

Chips were hot and yummy! Food good but service was slow slow slow..... I think our waitress Heather fell asleep in the back. She took our order someone else brought it and I never saw her till she brought bill. I wanted some more tea too.

This Gardunos is inside Hotel Albuquerque. Food is absolutely delicious, staff is awesome, the atmosphere feels authentic and alive. Thank you to the manager Nicole Bradford and the waitress Jennifer for making my visit to your restaurant extremely enjoyable. I'm not generally big on Albuquerque, but this place and it's staff is definitely a jewel. =0)

We are from the Albuquerque area and have recently discovered the Garduno's Restaurant in the Hotel Albuquerque. Garduno's is an old fixture in Albuquerque but the version in the Hotel is new. The food is especially good and the service has been outstanding. Our favorite is the Blue Corn beef enchilada with red chile and a fried egg on top, preceded by the table-side guacamole. Eddie was a great waiter and Nicole keeps the place running perfectly.
