The people running this tasting room have great knowledge of their wines and the wine making process here. Not to mention that the sparkling wines are quite delicious. There are no fields to look at, as the grapes are grown in a more amenable location ( for wine grapes), about 150 miles south along the Rio Grande. A friendly place I always stop at when in Albuquerque.

Stopped here on our way through Albuquerque. They sell their sparkling wines nationally,so I was somewhat familiar with them (they have a good product),but knew they also had a production of still wines we were interested in trying.
The tasting room was easy to get to,right off the interstate, and was a pleasant surrounding. The young lady working there was very knowledgeable about the wines and pleasant in every way. We tried both reds and whites plus the champagnes and were impressed enough that we ended up joining there wine club. A good experience

Service was really good. We didn't realize most of their wines were sparkling. We did however enjoy the Pinot Noir. We husband also ended up liking their Chardonnay and he never likes white wines. They also mentioned their wines are available for purchase almost anywhere (Total Wine, Bev Mo, Trader Joes, Costco, etc).

Right off Interstate 25 and close to Interstate 40, yet this attraction might be overlooked. One has to look for the service road that adjoins the winery, but during Balloon Fiesta, follow the cars that pay a visit. Inside is lovely, the tasting area is warm and friendly with knowledgeable staff. A bit disappointing the vineyard is 150 miles away, but in the middle of Albuquerque, who cares, with the fantastic array of sparkling and non sparkling wines. The 2009 Syrah is dry and amazing. The Pinot Noir is nice, but I prefer the dryer ones. I usually get their sparkling Brut for New Year's celebrating but this year bought the Sauvage instead...."Bone Dry" per the description at the tasting counter. There is a great array of baskets for gifting and perfect to send home to family and friends while you keep traveling.
