The B & B is charming, the location is perfect and the breakfasts are wonderful. Very pleasant atmosphere - Kathy and Steve make their guests feel very much at home. They were very helpful in suggesting places to see and nearby restaurants. Arranged for out trolley tickets within minutes of arriving on a busy holiday weekend. Coffee, tea and cookies always available. Check out their blog for some great recipes.

Room Tip: We had a smaller room, by choice, and it was very comfortable. Very quiet surroundings.

The final two days of our tour to the SW was capped off in Old Town Albuquerque, NM. The Bottger B&B was the perfect place to end our driving tour. The innkeepers were perfect hosts and very accommodating. They met us in the parking lot, briefed us on all the places to see and places to eat in Old Town. The bed and room was great and the breakfast light and scrumptious. The grounds were restful and clean and birds were chirping all around. Thanks to Steve and Kathy for such a great place to stay. I hope we can return for a visit and highly recommend it for anyone wanting a close and charming stay in Albuquerque. They sent us to High Noon Restaurant for an outstanding dinner - oh the "Truffle Fries" Wow!!!

Recently had a chance to visit ABQ and selected this B&B adjacent to Old Town and the Plaza. Everything was great on this visit. Parking was very convenient with easy in and out privileges. The room was spacious and well appointed. I liked the flat panel TV, iPod dock, large bathroom, wonderful breakfasts, WiFi, comfortable bed, friendly staff and guests, and best of all is the location.

Room Tip: From what I can tell, all the rooms were very good. Ours was nice and sunny in the AM which helped getting up in the morning!

We chose this B& B due to it's Trip Advisor reviews and most of all LOCATION to Old Town. We wanted easy and free parking (yes) quiet room (yes) space to put our items in the bathroom on the counter (yes) large flat screen TV (yes) comfortable King bed with soft linens (yes) a work space for my husband with free WiFi (yes) cleanliness in the room (yes) NO innkeeper pets in residence due to our allergies (yes) good wholesome food for breakfast (yes) and most of all, a reasonable price! All of this at Bottger Mansion. Even nice silky robes and slippers to borrow. OK so any complaints? Just a subjective one. Not being a "morning person" I prefer breakfast later and everyone sits down together at 8:30 am for breakfast. So I opted out and my husband brought me coffee. The furniture is very comfortable, often a negative in historic homes. Also did I mention GOOD lighting in the room? Important too! So often nowadays lighting is so dim as folks are saving money on electricity to the detriment of their guests' eyesight. They have excellent lighting.
We enjoyed conversing with Kathy and Steve and found them very helpful with local history and sights to visit. The Lemon cooler cookies served daily are a special treat too! We always select B&Bs when traveling if convenient and definitely will return as Jim's daughter lives in Albuquerque and we were ther for her UNM graduation.

Very friendly and helpful owners of b&b, made all arrangements for our balloon trip. Comfortable, with fresh cookies and drinks available around the clock. In Old Town.

Room Tip: We had a smaller room (the purple room), which was finde, but bathroom is divided into 2 parts with sink separate from rest.
