Our rooms were clean and fairly quiet, and we slept well. The bed was quite comfortable with good quality bedding and enough blankets. The living room had a separate AC unit, so we could let the bedroom cool down a little more before going to bed. Two bathrooms was a handy amenity, and we appreciated the little fridge and microwave. Breakfast was better than the usual hotel fare - eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt and several bread items. The coffee was very good, and the breakfast area was kept clean. Only negative was the extremely cheap plastic silverware - they could probably afford to provide forks that don't bend when you try to cut the sausage.

First, let me address the "All Suite" ploy - these are just regular hotels rooms with upgraded mattresses & a mini fridge. Granted, they are very comfortable mattresses, but we were 3 adults sharing a room and never would have booked anything other than a suite.
We arrived very late so we stayed there that night then the next morning we moved a couple of blocks down to the Quality Suites, which is a truly all-suite hotel.
Having been in the travel industry for almost 20 years, the first commandment of providing travel services is NO SURPRISES. Unfortunately, Best Western got this very, very wrong.

We booked two rooms next to each other. Both rooms were very nice, the beds were comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily. The pool and hot tub were very refreshing after a long day of walking, shopping and site seeing. The staff is trust worthy, I felt safe about leaving my laptop there. The breakfast is a nice touch saves money. The staff is pleasent, helpful and willing to take time to talk. We enjoyed our time here and would stay here again.

Our visit here was excellent. Here's why. The location is ideal. It is a short drive to the airport, the UNM campus and Nob Hill area, and very good food: El Patio, the Frontier Restaurant, Yanni's, 66 Diner, etc.

Our room was clean. The front desk was very helpful. We were give an upgrade, so we got a suite at room prices. The hotel is quiet as most rooms are located off Yale Blvd, the main street. The grounds are nice. The room had refrigerator, microwave and internet connection. And there are free chips and salsa at 5 pm.

This is a Best Western, so it is not fancy. Some of the furniture has seen better days, but the bed was comfy. It is a straightforward, well managed, reasonably priced hotel with considerable amenities. Sometimes we like fancy, but often a well run middle-of-the-line hotel suits us just fine.

It's not quite an airport hotel - you certainly can't see/hear it from the hotel, but it is no where near the historic Old Town. You'd need a car if you stayed here.

As we walked into the foyer a large staircase was the first thing we noticed. After a very quick and painless check in, we discovered that our 2nd floor rooms could only be accessed by those stairs (suitcases and all). With the altitude causing us some difficulty, the generous offer by the gentleman who had checked us in to help us was greatly appreciated.

As we headed to our rooms, we noticed that a couple of the rooms were being renovated, I hope that they are working their way through the hotel because they could certainly do with a freshen up. Although I don't know that it will fix the undulating floors.

Breakfast is included but the nook in the corner of the foyer is not large enough for a 7:30am rush and the staff member assigned to keep things clean and stocked didn't seem interested on our first morning there. So for the second morning, we headed across the carpark to the Village Inn restaurant - a much better range and worth paying for (also open for lunch & dinner which is good because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant).

Unless renovations are done, I would look elsewhere.

When my family and I arrived we were very happy with the 2 Room Family suite, 2 Bathrooms was a joy for us since everyone always wants to shower at the same time. Breakfast was plentiful and Social Hour was an extra we did not expect. This hotel has lots of free amenities, and very clean rooms. All the hotel staff is very freindly and helpful, I will stay here again on the way back from our trip. Thanks for a great stay
