“Perfect stop, convenience and class!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

We stopped here due to convenience to downtown and I-40. After spending a week in the wilderness we were greeted with friendliness, comfort, and advice from Jacqueline on the area and the hotel. It's more than we had expected and we were so impressed with the facilities, the staff, and the area. Thank you, all!

My favorite hotel in my hometown. :) this hotel has just about everything! Great rooftop bar, very cool event space, and Free valet parking. The restaurant is great there are several events throughout the year and I find the staff to be truly exceptional and friendly! I also love the rooms. I'm a sucker for super fabulous linens on the bed. :)

Stopped at the bar on the main floor and received great service. Then it was up to the mezzanine for the reception dinner. All the staff was great, especially Christopher who put up with me pursuing him around the area for the amazing mushroom, chorizo and goat cheese appetizers he was distributing through the crowd. Then it was up to room 614 which was quite nice in décor and appointment. All in all it was a great first experience with this property. PS. I work at a four star hotel so I feel I know whats up.

Room Tip: Situated where it is it looks to me that all the rooms will have a view. Perhaps the north side woul...

We are loving our stay at the Andaluz. Staff is very friendly and our room is like a well laid out apartment. Very comfortable. Love the robes in the bathroom! The restaurant is really great also. We had breakfast this morning and we were impressed. Can't wait for our dinner reservations!

I have stayed here a few times now and love this hotel. A good portion of my life was spent in construction so when I stay in a hotel my eyes zoom in on all the builder's mistakes. It drives my girlfriend nuts but I can't help it. Different story with the Andaluz. Whoever designed, built, and decorated the place is a kindred spirit and I love their work. Every little detail from the shower design to the art on the wall. The beds are super comfy with great pillows. Even the shampoo and soaps smell awesome. I have never been anywhere that made me feel so relaxed. Last week when we stayed there, our plan was to enjoy some of ABQ's downtown nightlife. We ended up just hanging out in the lobby drinking beer and listening to someone play music. Its clean, super comfortable and the customer service is great.

Room Tip: I haven't had a bad room yet so all I can do is recommend all of them. If you want to save a fe...

Your review of our hotel gives us a definite sense of pride. Thank you for taking time to write this review. We are always pleased when our guests come in and have a great time. It is a bonus when someone comes in with an extra critical eye and has a great time. We believe in excellence and doing things with our guests in mind. The owner of the hotel has gone through many lengths to get the details right, and the management and staff work hard to keep those details in mind.

This year we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the hotel. Every month we are bringing an old decade back to life while we celebrate the history of the hotel. We would love to see you for one of those events.

This hotel is awesome. The staff was friendly, courteous and efficient and the building itself is pretty cool. Originally constructed in 1939, it was remodeled just a few years ago. The rooms are spacious and clean, not to mention beautiful. The Andaluz is within walking distance of restaurants, music venues, movie theaters and the Rail Runner, which takes passengers to Santa Fe. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to experience the up and coming Albuquerque scene. Two thumbs up!! We will be returning guests for sure!

I picked the Andaluz based on a friend's recommendation. It's a beautiful property in downtown Albuquerque and the green touches are in evidence. I appreciated free parking for my hybrid. But, a basic room is tiny - like the rooms in old New York City hotels. I couldn't imagine two people sharing the closet sized bathroom. I also felt it was pricey, at $200-plus once taxes were factored in.The valets could not have been nicer and everything was comfortable. It was just small.

Thank you for taking time to review our hotel. We are proud to say that the hotel is 75 years old this year and before renovations in 2009, there were more rooms than we have now. The owner of the hotel expanded many of the smaller rooms into larger rooms or suites. Now we have twelve different room types of all different shapes and sizes, including rooms with king beds and double vanities. We would love to show you around.

Also during the renovation in 2009, the owner of the hotel did everything possible to convert the hotel into a Gold LEED Certified hotel, while still being able to provide luxury and comfort.

When you come to stay again we will be more than happy to show you to one of our larger rooms.
