My husband and I stayed last week and had a great time! The service in the lounge was excellent. The bartender, Natasha, was very friendly and made great margaritas! When she learned we weren't crazy about our room, she sent us over to Amanda "the Bomb" at the front desk who moved us to a beautiful mountain view room. Everyone was just so friendly! The chef, Pedro, was excellent and personally checked on us and our meal satisfaction. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels in Albuquerque, but none can match the feel and comfort provided by Nativo Lodge.

Dear Vivian W.,

Thank you so much for reviewing our hotel, I am so proud of my staff and am very happy that you were able to see them perform at there best. Natasha is a great bartender and we are very pleased to have her, Amanda the "Bomb" is a great asset to the team and does whatever it takes to make our guests happy, Chef Pedro is very personable and is always concerned about what our guests think of his cooking. We would love for you to come back and visit us very soon.

Sincerely,

Good value and neat atmosphere. Not the best hotel I've stayed at but above average and worth the amount paid. Rooms are very spacious and have tons of room. Would stay here again if traveling to NM or through NM.

Needed to reserve a room for a family member that was traveling to Colorado from Arizona. Located right off the 25 this seemed to be a very convenient spot. I called directly to the location not the 800 number. Was luck enough to have Wendy answer the phone. Not only was she very pleasant on the phone handle the entire reservation including send me a Authorization form in less than three minutes. Great Customer Service Wendy, Mr. Major is very fortunate to have you!!! Thanks again

We decided to stay at a hotel for one night for our 7th wedding anniversary. We chose the Nativo Lodge because they had a pool that was indoor/outdoor, a breakfast special, a good price and they were kid friendly!

Well it turned out to be a great stay! Glenn was very kind and offered to do anything he could for us! The hotel surprised us with complimentary chocolate covered strawberries! The room was quiet even though we knew we had neighbors with kids and a dog we never heard them.

We loved the large Tipi out in the courtyard. Our bartender Tanya was awesome and made it a fun happy hour! The appetizers we ordered were yummy!

When we called to book the room they were thoughtful, answered all of our questions, and gave us the best rate they could get for us.

The room and hotel had really interesting Native American decorations and even a New Mexico picture book to look through.

I think the hotel could use a few upgrades, but the wonderful staff and little extras more than made up for those little things!!

They were offering fruit-infused water at the front desk-when we checked in, Glen mentioned sometimes they have pineapple-infused water, and I said that was my favorite fruit. That evening, they sent up a plate of fresh pineapple for us! The most thoughtful thing I think I've ever experienced at a hotel. The location is excellent, near the Balloon Park and restaurants, easy drive to the Zoo and Old Town. We didn't hang around the hotel much, so never ate in their restaurant, although it smelled great. Decor is awesome, lots of Native American art and sculptures. Our room had a small fridge and microwave, which was very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel!

Dear cjaphe,

Thank you very much for reviewing our hotel, it was great to hear you enjoyed the water at the Front Desk upon check in. That is a new concept we have implemented at the hotel to increase the customer service we provide. Glenn is an awesome asset to our hotel, he is continuously doing the little things to ensure our guests have a memorable experience. The next time you come through Albuquerque you need to make Nativo Lodge your first stop.

Nativo Lodge looks very good when you come in, as it is decorated in Native American cultural surroundings. However, the biggest complaint is that they allow the pool to be open at 6 am! We were unfortunate to have a room above the pool, so on Sunday morning at 6:05 am we were awakened to screaming and splashing children. In addition, they were being allowed to swim in street clothing versus proper swimming attire. Many little things like a running toilet, leaking bathtub, no anti-slip in the bathtub, only two bath towels and one hand towel and washcloth for a king suite, and no full length mirror would make this more of a one star hotel. We most likely will not return.

Room Tip: Avoid all rooms over the pool area (believe this was the southeast side)!!

Thank you for reviewing our hotel it is reviews such as yours that will make us a better hotel. We have adjusted our pool hours to allow for guests to be able to sleep in and not be bothered. We have also gone through the room you stayed in and fixed the items that were broken, and needed to be replaced. We also go through all of our rooms on a rotational basis and do Preventative Maintenance to make sure these things are caught and fixed, I would like to apologize that we fell short during your stay.

We would love for you to come back and visit us, please give me a call at 505-798-4351 to set up a one night reservation on us to show you what we can do.

The staff is great! Tanya was happy and checking on us both in the restaurant and at the bar. It did seem that the hotel was understaffed. In the café the wait times were quite long and they often did not have enough cash to make change. Also, when we needed toiletries we called twice within an hour and no one brought up what we asked for so we went down to the front desk to get it. Again the staff was great they just need more of them. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is also nicely decorated. I would recommend this place and will stay here again. One suggestion I would have is they put chairs on the balconies for people to sit on to enjoy.
