My mom, my 1 year old son, and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I have nothing to say but GREAT things about this hotel. I found it online through TripAdvisor and we were very happy with our stay! Our room had two, comfortable queen-sized beds and the room was nice and clean. It had a balcony (that faced out toward the parking lot/expressway - I think the backside had better views) so we could see when my brother arrived at the hotel to pick us up to go explore the ABQ and Santa Fe area. We loved that it had a southwestern flair to it instead of being a typical chain hotel. The lobby was well decorated, too...Native American feel with a modern, cozy feeling. The pool was an indoor/outdoor pool. We stayed in the middle of the week and happened to be there on a day when they were cleaning the pool and were told the pool was closed for the night. We were bummed that we could not use the pool (had arrived too late the night before) and had one night to use it. BUT, the friendly front desk receptionist let us know later that they opened the pool back up, and my son was able to go swimming in a big pool for the first time in his life! He was a little fish and loved, loved, loved it! There was also a small fitness room and a hot tub. There is a small outdoor area (I imagined it to be bigger, but there is no need for it to be bigger...just got that impression from photos online.) There is a teepee on the grounds outside with neat punched-tin-star type lights that made for a beautiful glow at night-time. The soaps and shampoos that were complimentary smelled great and were Native American made and smelled of refreshing sweet grass. Overall, our stay was excellent and very comfortable! Would (and probably will) stay there again! Oh, we received a military discount on room rates, too, since my husband is in the military.
