My gf and i were travleing across country moving from Chicago to LA. We booked a cheap hotel room at quality Inn because the night before in OKC we had a pleasant experience at Howard Johnson. When we walked in to our apt at quality inn it was out of a movie; dead bug in the bead, smelly, carpet stains...etc.

We immediately walked out and for $40 more switched to Sheraton Airport. Everyone from the bellmen to the bar staff was incredible. Going out of their way to offer help or suggestions and always doing so with friendly courteous service. I commended the manager in person when we checked out. Thanks for changing our night around.

Not the most professional or friendly staff at front desk. They do not go out of their way to do anything for the guests.
There was a foul smell on 4th floor.
Cards didn't work after dinner- par for the course at every Sheraton.
The server on the club floor was very nice as was the lovely lady who worked the concierge desk.

Thank you for your review on your most recent stay here at the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel. I certainly apologize about the customer service you received from the front desk staff with not being professional, friendly or going out of their way to take care of you during your visit. I am glad to hear however that the Sheraton Club Lounge server was very nice and lovely and I will be more than happy to share your feedback. We do appreciate your business and hope that you will give us another opportunity to prove to you that your last stay was an isolated one.

Nice hotel, but terrible customer service. If you book a room, even if you pre-pay and tell them how many people in your party, what time you are getting there, they won't have the room you paid for available. In this day in age, that's unacceptable. Many other hotels allow you to choose the room you want, then they take it off their offerings online. With this hotel, we booked a two bed queen room for one night. We were getting in late after a long day of traveling and were informed that those rooms were all gone. What?!?! We pre-paid and told you when we were arriving! I was then informed I could get a single king bed, not helpful with my child. Oh, they'll give me a roll away bed at no charge. Really? Then I was told "It's not my fault" by the check-in employee when I expressed frustration at not having the room I booked available. Really bad customer service. We were exhausted with a child and instead of having the bed in this new room in 10-15 minutes, had to wait more than a half hour for it. With all the hotels available in the area with shuttle service, this one is off our list. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for quick travel from the airport.

We stay here regularly when coming into Albq for a little R&R or an Isotopes game or just to get away from the weekend. The Zia Marching band festival is also held not far from here and is a nice weekend outing if you are into that sort of thing. There are lots of things closeby to keep you entertained, we were up this trip for a concert. This Sheraton is always clean and comfortable and the staff is top notch. We like to stay on the Executive floor which offers free evening Hors d'oeuvres and non alcoholic drinks as well as a wonderful Starbucks coffee (or latte, cappuccino, etc.)included in the price. The lounge area also has a beautiful view from panoramic windows on 2 sides as well as a PC and big screen TV, a huge farm table and some comfortable chairs. Hot breakfast as well as pastries and cereals are also served here. The rooms themselves are decorated nice with modern furnishings and are very user friendly. The beds are very comfortable and sleep well. This was our fifth stay at this property and will not be our last, the staff is very friendly and bend over backwards to make sure your stay is nice. My one complaint would be if you are a pool user the pool is nice but it was not very clean this trip, in fact two of the guests were skimming dead bugs and trash from the pool when we went to use it. A spa is not available. Overall this is in my top 2 favorite places to stay in Albuquerque and I have stayed at several dozen, we are in town frequently and once we found this Sheraton seem to gravitate back to it if it is available for our stay dates.

Room Tip: If can get the executive floor (15th) it can't be beat. If not, try to get a upper floor, the e...

Really pleasantly surprised by my experience at this hotel. Charging for WIFI in the room seems unacceptable in this day and age, and I managed to negotiate this fee to be waived. The room was beautiful , starbucks coffee in room, a decent sized pool in for pre-flight swimming laps, and punctual courteous shuttle to/from airport. Lovely meal and wine in the restaurant and great server. I'd recommend- and suggest management stop charging for in room WIFI.

The room was exceptionally nice with an upscale feel for a reasonable price. The view was a plus. My restaurant dinner was the best Santa Fe quesadillas I've ever had. I was pleasantly surprised! The TV, however, was far from stellar.

Room Tip: Higher rooms have a better view.

As in my previous review, I want to emphasize that the new room decor is nice. However, once you start looking carefully, you realize that this place is a dump with makeup. Kinda like an old meth addict that stole some rouge from CVS... First, $15 for internet. Seriously? Second, the TV system has everything you do not want (at a hefty price, that is) and nothing of what you want. Maybe some good channels and a working remote? Third, there is no fridge in the room. As such, I decided to improvise with the ice bucket. Mind you, it is so small, you can barely fit one coke in there. Fortunately, the IKEA trashcans are waterproof. So now we got some cooling for the drinks. Just look at the photo. Finally, it is clear to me that management does not care about details. Torn linens? Please... This place is only getting 2/5 and not 1/5 because of the renovation.

Oh, wait... You wonder why I am back? Because I did not book it. Business did. Otherwise, I'd rather be napping on the ABQ tarmac and making dust angels while sipping a good beer and looking at the planes and stars.

Now please, Mr. Manager, spare yourself the pathetic reply in an attempt to make things better. I was here about half a year ago. You had plenty of time to fix things. Nothing happened. I think this speaks for itself. People, stay away. In fact, I recommend this hotel add a digit to the end of its name. Maybe "Sheraton 2". Why 2? Because I could not come up with a less inspiring, boring and lame number, like this hotel.

Room Tip: take the XX01 rooms. You will get a view of the mountains and be far away from the elevators.
