“Excellent Place to Stay!!!!”
Reviewed 15 July 2013

I made my reservations based on reviews from trip advisor. The hotel was easy to find and right off the interstate...the check in was extremely quick which I personally appreciated after a long days drive...I had a 2 Queen/ smoking room and was completely satisfied. The room was very clean and comfy! Good price too!! We were late arriving and wanted to use the room service but the wait time was over an hour so we went to a local restaurant instead. I am a hot air balloon fan and in the morning there were a ton of balloons launching right across the interstate. It was an awesome sight. I would love to make it to the fiesta some day and will for sure stay here again!

We are glad that your research brought us to our property and that you were pleased with your decision. Balloons in July, what a treat and we would love to have you back one of these years for the Balloon Fiesta. Hope to see you then. Shelli

After reading the reviews I was a little concerned that I might have made a bad choice but as soon as I entered the hotel I knew I had made a great choice. The location was terrific, we got off the freeway at exit 233 and the hotel was right there behind the Chevron and Burger King. The gentlemen at the desk was friendly and on top of everything. Our room was a king and it was perfect. It was so clean and so nice I felt bad we just had the one night. The housekeeping staff was very nice and I noticed that they were wearing kneepads which told me that they get down and clean which was evident in our room. The price was right and the breakfast bar was very nice and the attendant was right on top of everything and very friendly. The hotel is only 1/2 mile from where the balloons ascend and we just might make it back down for the balloon festival if we can get rooms here. You take exit 234 which is the next exit and you are at the Sandia Casino and Resort. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends.

Room Tip: If possible I would suggest you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor as the pool is inside on the main floor...

This is a good place, for a traveling family to rest up for a nights stay. They have everything that a typical CS should have. The front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. The suites are of good size and the beds are comfy. The breakfast is good for a CS. And the price is right for what you get. The property is showing some age but we would return, for the place is is a good value.

Ok hotel, seemed clean until I stepped out of the shower to use a towel and they had stains on them. Breakfast is ok although if they did not over steam the eggs and sausage they would not get so hard and dry. overall ok.Don't leave your valuables in your car, mine was broken into and I lost about $300 worth of items not to mention the $100 deductible to replace the window. Park in front not on the sides.

We spent five days here. The hotel is at least 10 years old and perhaps not the best in the inventory but the staff went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. One morning we were leaving at 5:30a to take a balloon ride. The breakfast opens at 6am. The night receptionist left a note for the morning staff asking them to prepare coffee for us at 5am. When were came downstairs fresh coffee was waiting for us. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to all attractions.

Room Tip: ask for an upgrade....if available they will provide one.

Comfort Inn & Suites
Albuquerque, New Mexico

We recently stayed three nights from April 15th to the 18th at Comfort Inn & Suites
on north side of the city of Albuquerque. Access to the motel is a bit tricky as it is located just back of Alameda and you access it from behind through a series of speed bumps.
As we expected, we had a smooth check in and were given a clean comfortable room on the third floor. As we were visiting family in Albuquerque, we made this our second home. Everything in the room met our needs. I swam in the pool a couple of times which was a nice way to relax.. The spa was not operational during the time we were there.
Positive features we experienced were the friendly staff at the front desk and the breakfast area. Excellent breakfasts every morning with nothing ever falling short. Good internet connections and an inviting lobby.
A good value as the price of the rooms were the most reasonable we have encountered. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The room was clean & fairly comfortable. We'd come into town to visit an old friend....spent a long evening with the family.....checked in about midnight. Imagine our disappointment when the safety lock on the door had fallen over the latch. We could open the door about 1". Apparently these things can fall over when they get worn, and there is no way to get in from the outside!
We were just dog-tired and a little cranky over this complication. The young lady at the front desk was very apologetic and helpful. She was able to break the safety lock off the door post and let us in. (And then of course, we could only lock the door with the regular lock and the dead-bolt.) And the hotel cut our bill in half.
Like I said, they were very helpful, but this was a pretty annoying problem.

Room Tip: Driveway hard to find in the dark.....entry off a side street, and was not marked on that side of th...
