“$35 a night is outrageous!!”
Reviewed 12 May 2012

Still, my favorite place to camp. In the heart of the Redwoods and on the Smith. I love paddling around and welcoming visitors to my back yard. Fantastic vistas and great trails. When up, the pedestrian bridge across the river to Stout Grove is the coolest place on earth.

“Glorious”

Nothing is as stunning as a walk through an Old Growth Redwood forest. 2000 year old trees teach us a lot about what is important. It is a spiritual experience

“WOW!!”

Picture perfect, absolutely amazing!!! I had only seen these trees in books and on tv, but to stand in this picturesque forest alone in the silence you would think you had died and gone home!!

“Truly majestic”
Reviewed 9 April 2012

Even though it rained and it was only about 45 degrees, the hiking in this park was amazing. Simpson-Reed, Stout Grove and Mill Creek Trails are easy to find and easy to hike. The huge redwoods are awe-inspiring.
