Beaver Brook on the River

My husband and I recenlty stayed in one of the studio units and I give this place 2 thumbs up. It was a large unit (#12) it was immaculate. They included a lot of the small touches that hotels do such as a hair dryer, toiletries, a welcome basket, robes and towels just for the hot tub. I've included a picture from out deck. The one thing I didn't know but learned of from a local was that there are 4 people buried at the center of the complex. I took some time to read the headstones and the individuals were all early residents (1800's) of Estes Park. I felt this gave a wonderful historical touch to the property.

Room Tip: We stayed in #12 which is the only unit without a washer/dryer so if that's important you may w...

Beaver Brook was so much better than we'd hoped for, and the perfect end to our 14-day road trip with our kids.

First off, the place is lovely -- it seems brand new, freshly painted and furnished, and spotlessly clean. Honestly, it looked like we were the first people to stay there, although of course we weren't. The room and furnishings were exactly as described on the website, with one exception: there was actually 1 and 1/2 baths in our 2-bedroom unit; it was billed as having only 1 bathroom, and that extra toilet makes all the difference in the world when you're traveling as a family!

We loved that there was room to spread out, a table we could all sit at to eat breakfast, and a full-sized laundry center in the condo. The only negative comment I can make about the furnishings is that the fold-out couch in the living room was incredibly uncomfortable and our teenagers had been counting on using it so that they would not have to share a bed.

The location couldn't have been better: just minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and also downtown Estes Park, without actually being IN the hustle and bustle of Estes Park.

And the staff: the front-desk and maintenance staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Even though daily maid service is not included, we requested extra fresh towels and some were sent over instantly. When the dryer didn't seem to be drying efficiently, maintenance was sent over right away and the problem resolved. When I needed a computer with a printer to print out our boarding passes, the office staff graciously let me use hers.

This is a very nice town house that has everything you would need for a short or long stay. It is close to the entrance for the Rocky Mountain Park, very clean, and has new kitchen and laundry appliances. We found this place online and were very pleased with everything.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice

We booked this reservation online. Boy, were we happy when we got there. Everything from a deck with a wonderful view of Rocky Mtn. to a kitchen with a fridge and coffee maker. There was nothing missing that you need. Literally, you are less than a mile from the entrance of Rocky Mtn. National Park and downtown Estes Park. Definitely worth the rate! Book now; you won't be disappointed!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom Townhome by the river. Beautiful view of Longs Peak. Enjoyed Hot Tub overlooking river. Townhome had full kitchen, fireplace, TV, phone, excellent water pressure in shower, washer & dryer in downstairs bath (no shower downstairs) very comfortable beds. Your own private patio with table & 2 chairs. Very clean. Diane in office is very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again. They also have a STUDIO but no full kitchen, but has a microwave & refrig. and I don't think it has a W&D. But does have a fireplace-cozy! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the sofa in living room was very uncomfortable (all flat-no support) and we sank right into the sofa, and no AC. I mentioned it to Diane and she said she would mention it to owner. Otherwise everything was very nice and comfy ;-) its close to the Visitor center by the Bear Lake side of Rocky Mountain Narional Park. The townhomes are pretty new. No AC

Stayed here in January for 2 nights. Friendly staff, amazing hot tubs, great space, fully equipped kitchen, super clean, quiet, homey, cozy, lovely welcoming. Beautiful view, excellent location near to RMNP. Just 2 complaints that definitely affected our stay - very uncomfortable beds, and EXTREMELY terrible couch and living room chair. The couch and chair were completely expired, and you really couldn't sit on either of them to be cozy or to watch a movie. We wound up sitting on the floor with pillows to watch a movie. These are in need a complete overhaul. Other than that, a very lovely stay, but those were hard to get over.
