Great local place on on the banks of the Big Thompson River with a duck pond as a bonus. Very scenic location which is great for a relaxing start to your morning with an abundance of outdoor seating and dog friendly as is most of Colorado. The breakfast burrito was decent, the granola bars better, but the cappuccino and chai latte were great. We stopped in both of the mornings we were in town we enjoyed it so much.

We walked to Coffee on the Rocks every morning during our vacation. We loved starting out our morning with coffee and bagels by the lake. Try the Jamaica me crazy blend. Delicious!

This is by far the best, most delicious coffee in Estes Park! The landscaping is great and the soothing sound of the pond was a added bonus! There was also a pond where you could feed the ducks which was a blast! The Coffee and Atmosphere here are just wonderful! If you ever in Estes make SURE you check this out!

Good coffee, great service, but the location makes this place fantastic! We got drinks and sat out on the large deck in comfy chairs overlooking their lake with the mountains in the background...so pleasant and peaceful. We went back on our last short day in town, before heading home, just to get a coffee and one last fix of mountain relaxation. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for lunch around 11:30 and since I couldn't find a menu online anywhere prior to our visit, I'll list what we had: roast beef +cheese sandwich, ham+egg+cheese bagel, egg+sausage burrito, egg+cheese+lettuce+tomato. {Sandwich list on the website would be helpful!} Since we have a vegetarian in the family I do remember that they have a vegetarian sandwich consisting of yams [sweet potatoes] arugula and goat cheese. Also: spinach wrap BLTT (turkey?), chicken salad, ham and cheese on focaccia, Of course they have many coffee options. The sandwiches do not come with chips or anything; you are buying just the sandwich. We all enjoyed our choices but the small burrito was not enough for my husband.

The location is lovely. There are lots of places to sit outside and relax; perfect for bringing your dog too. Eating here is a nice escape from the chaos of downtown. We would definitely return even if just for coffee and a seat by the pond.
