I rented the "School Marm Cottage" and it was exactly what I needed for my weekend retreat. I was working on a writing project and hoping for some tranquility and natural beauty without breaking the bank. My one-bedroom cottage was smaller inside than it looks online, but it was more than enough room for me. It also would have been fine for a couple, just cozier. These cottages are well maintained and very clean. I nearly bumped into a deer leaving my cottage for dinner one night...lots of wildlife and no car noise! Overall, the environment is rather mellow (at least in the winter). The cottages are near one another but not right on top of one another. I definitely had a lot of privacy, but if you are looking for an extremely secluded spot, this isn't it. If you are deciding between Triple R and Lazy R, choose Triple R is you are looking for more tranquility. Lazy R (where you check in for Triple R) is also probably very nice (and maybe with more amenities) but right on a main road with lots of cars coming and going on account of there being more units at Lazy R.
I definitely plan to stay at Triple R Cottages again!
