The Kokopelli Inn was awesome. My wife and i spent one night there before going to Rocky Mountain National Park and Vail. The room was comfortable and affordable, the proprietors, June and Butch were also very comfortable and friendly, as were the other guests. The hot tub was great. The cost was very reasonable, and, above all, the breakfast was delightful and robust!

A great value and a very nice place. Enjoyable mountain setting too.

As we decided to go out and celebrate our anniversary, my boyfriend found and fell in love with the kokopelli just from the pictures. As soon as he showed me, we booked the kokopelli suite! We read tons of reviews from this site and knew this would be a place we could both enjoy... and we both did! This was the first time that we had ever stayed at a B&B so neither of knew what to expect. We were so impressed with the service there, which can never be compared to a hotel chain. June was always there to answer any question we had. Then she and Butch were so great about taking care of our needs. We loved having breakfast brought to our room every morning and would have loved to have spoken with everyone at the breakfast table, but neither of us are morning people!

As I said, we were celebrating our first anniversary together, so June and Butch had a lovely set up when we first arrived. A little paper on the door saying happy anniversary, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the room waiting. All of which were amazing. The next day, we went in to town and after an exhausting day came back to a perfectly picked up and arranged room and some delicious brownies! We were so impressed with this place overall, and would recommend it to anyone.

In other reviews, we did notice some of the bad reviews given. And yes, you are close to the highway, but traffic is not that bad, even during the summer. We had no issues sleeping. The only thing that was odd was the toilet in the bathroom had no door, however, it completely fit the style of the room. The bathroom was amazing though. The two person (two headed) shower allowed me some very relaxing alone time. The sink had such an interesting design. We loved it and will be back!

We live in Lyons, 20 minutes away and were looking for an anniversary stay-cation. Butch and June had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for us along with a sign on our room saying happy anniversary. Breakfast was great. Room was a great value. Comfortable bed. Great place to stay near Estes.

We had our Golden with us in the one pet friendly room. Kokopelli Inn, while rustic on the outside, has beautiful, upgraded and very clean rooms. Hummingbirds were outside and being a few miles outside of Estes park, it was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was great!

This was our second visit. We got the same room because it was so comfortable. It now has a comfortable king bed. The room is large with large windows letting in alot of natural light. We love walking out on our private porch with a swing and a table with chairs. We love to watch the hummingbirds flying all around. The shower head in the bathroom is powerful - just like we like it. The small refrigerator is stocked with green tea and water. The breakfasts are SO good. There is a great variety of tasty dishes. They leave great treats each day in the room - chocolate covered strawberries or fresh brownies. The best part is the genuine care given. This visit I was sick. They helped in every way possible to make me as comfortable as possible. It was really appreciated. On all levels, we give the highest recommendation possible.

We were only able to book one night at the Inn-they were already booked the other nights.
The pics on their website just don't do the place justice. It is wonderful. Little touches everywhere that only enhance your stay.
Butch has done alot of the detail work himself (like handmaking the dreamcatcher over the bed)..and June is an unbelievable cook. I have NEVER had a better breakfast.
You couldn't ask for a nicer place or better hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.
We arrived strangers and left friends.
My single complaint is our cell phones didn't work there-but they do make their phone, with unlimited long distance, available for use.

We always choose a different place to visit every year for our "Sister's Vacation", and this year we decided to go on a trip to the Rocky Mountains. Our vacation began wonderful when we got to the B&B to chocolate covered strawberries and welcoming hosts June and Butch. It was a short drive from the Rocky Mountains Park and a beautiful little town with shops and dinning (about 5 to 10 minutes away). After a day of hiking, it was so pleasant to come back to Kokopelli because June and Butch make you feel like you are at home. We have absolutely only wonderful memories of our visit. We stayed five nights and on our last night June and Butch treated us to "Smores", which I had never had before. It was just plain wonderful staying here...we LOVED IT, they made us feel special. I don't usually write reviews for places but this time, it was so great, how could I not let everyone know that this is the PERFECT place to stay if you are going to the Rocky Mountains. I even told my sisters I would like to come back for a romantic get-away with my husband....Kokopelli Inn was the perfect place for my sisters and I to catch up and have a great and relaxing time....thanks June and Butch!!!
