What a wonderful relaxing stay we had at Hallets Peak in July 2014. The facilities were very clean and decorated perfectly. Everyone from 50+ down to 6 mos. enjoyed it. The kitchen was especially well-equipped for cooking. The large deck was probably everyone's favorite spot as we could converse, listen to the river sounds, and watch for wildlife. The gas fire pit allowed us to continue our conversations and activities a little longer each night without becoming uncomfortably chilled. This was our first stay at Paradise on the River but it will not be our last. The whole family gave it a thumbs up.

We stayed in campsite 2 which backed up to the Big Thomson River. It couldn't have been more perfect! All the facilities were great. The staff was great from the moment we arrived, very accommodating and gave us tips for local places to eat, get fishing licenses, etc. The sites were a little close but the beauty of everything outweighed that. We would highly recommend Paradise on the River to anyone visiting Estes Park!

We hosted our bi-annual family reunion at Paradise on the River in June 2014. We had about 60 family members from as far away as Florida and Texas ranging from 2 to 78 with half of those there being under 12. We rented Hewett Peak as "party central" and then other family members rented 5 of the other cabins and we had 2 RVs as well. Everything was terrific. From the initial planning stages and all the help from the amazing staff, to the views, lovely cabins, décor, well stocked kitchens, comfy beds, quick responses to requests for things, beautiful flowers. It was one of the best reunions we've had. It was very clean and well maintained. The propane grills and fire pits on the desk were great and put to good use. The kids had a terrific time which is a sign of success. Easy access to town, Rocky Mountain National Park, hiking, fishing, all kinds of activities. You can't go wrong here. We'll be back!

Room Tip: All of the cabins are great - they vary in size and amenities so you can pick the right one for your...

This is our 2nd time staying here. We love it so much. So peaceful with well kept grounds and everything you would need in a cabin, is there for you. Stayed in River Bend cabin this time and also had family next door in Creek View. (which I stayed in 2 yrs ago) Beds very comfortable. Loved eating dinner on the deck over the river and used the gas grill this time. Also made smores on our little gas firepit (?) on deck. Enjoyed my mornings on the deck, drinking coffee and watching the river and seeing the wildlife across the way. It may seem crowded when you drive in, but it does not feel that way. You do not notice your neighbors at all...although we had good conversations with a couple who live there in an RV for the summer months. (Lucky them!) Would come back year after year, if I could. Just a terrific place and I recommend it to everyone I know who is heading the RMNP.

We loved everything about this place. We stayed in the Fawn View cabin. The staff were really nice and accommodating. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The queen bed in the bedroom was awesome. The view of the river from the deck was beautiful. The location was close to town and very close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We would definitely recommend staying there!

Family trip to Estes was made better by our stay here. Staff was wonderful from the moment we pulled up; they were very helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the Fawn View Cabin and it was super clean and very well maintained. Grill, fire pit thing on the deck, outdoor furniture and right near the river. The kids had bunks and the sofa pulled out into a good sized bed. It was certainly worth every dime we paid. We would stay here again!!

Last week, we were in Estes Park for a family reunion. We stayed at Paradise on the River - specifically, in the unit (house) called Halletts Peak. It was terrific. We had a full-furnished, fully-equipped house with a living room/cable TV, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus loft, 2 bathrooms, private hot tub, wifi, and large covered deck with an adjacent gas grill, all nestled alongside a calming creek in a wooded setting. It was a relaxing, spacious, tranquil place to be. It served our extended family well - me, my wife, two teens, brother-in-law and his two children, and mother-in-law. Because the home and deck were so spacious, we also had plenty of room to serve as the gathering place for all relatives attending the reunion - 30 in total (they stayed in the neighboring, smaller cabins). I would highly recommend this property. Great location. Friendly, accommodating staff, beautiful setting.
