This was our first time in Colorado and thanks to Trip Advisor we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! The river was beautiful and the cabin was perfect for our family of 4; it was so nice and clean and had everything we needed. The front office folks were so nice and gave us such a warm and friendly greeting when we arrived. We had everything we needed there... including a stamp and an envelope which we needed in a pinch! :-) The grounds were gorgeous and well kept. The laundry facilities were clean and functional and very convenient. The location was located close to everything we wanted to do in Estes Park and surrounding areas! I hope to be back to Paradise on the River soon! Hopefully, next time we go, it won't be so rainy because when it was sunny while we were there, it was absolutely perfect!

My husband and I were blessed to have two daughters get married within 6 months of each other! As a thank you gift from the two brides and grooms, we were sent on a mystery trip from New Jersey. We followed the clues until we finally arrived at Paradise on the River - and what a Paradise it was! We enjoyed our three nights there immensely, from the lovely owners who met us as we arrived after hours, to the cleanliness of the Brookside cabin, to the natural and breathtaking beauty of RMNP. We had perfect weather and hiked everyday and enjoyed our evenings down in the village. I would highly recommend Paradise on the River to anyone who was travelling to RMNP - it is truly a winner! Thank you for such a unforgettable vacation.

We had planned on only staying 2 nights and ended up staying a week! It's a small park right on the river and at the edge of the RMNP! Our first night was not adjacent to the river but the park manager moved us the next day when a spot became available.
They even loaned us a bbq and gave us some charcoal!
Elk roamed freely on the road at the top of the park. The staff were lovely and facilities were extremely clean.
This is the standard that others could and should aspire to.
Out of the many many RV Parks we have stayed at over the years there are only TWO that stand out. This one and Mountaindale in Colorado Springs!!!
Thank you for making our stay memorable in all the right ways

What a wonderful relaxing stay we had at Hallets Peak in July 2014. The facilities were very clean and decorated perfectly. Everyone from 50+ down to 6 mos. enjoyed it. The kitchen was especially well-equipped for cooking. The large deck was probably everyone's favorite spot as we could converse, listen to the river sounds, and watch for wildlife. The gas fire pit allowed us to continue our conversations and activities a little longer each night without becoming uncomfortably chilled. This was our first stay at Paradise on the River but it will not be our last. The whole family gave it a thumbs up.

We stayed in campsite 2 which backed up to the Big Thomson River. It couldn't have been more perfect! All the facilities were great. The staff was great from the moment we arrived, very accommodating and gave us tips for local places to eat, get fishing licenses, etc. The sites were a little close but the beauty of everything outweighed that. We would highly recommend Paradise on the River to anyone visiting Estes Park!
