Boulder Brook on Fall River
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 6 July 2014

As their website shows, the property is very scenic and you will love being on the river.

Our suite was very roomy with a lovely Jacuzzi tub for two. Nice furnishings, comfy bed. Nice bathroom with an unusual big shower with a shower-head at either end.

If you can be in Rooms 1-4, you will get the idyllic river experience you expect. While most of the other rooms are riverfront, they are also facing the busy road (pretty much a highway, really) which is directly behind the river. So you are facing the traffic as much as you are enjoying the beautiful river. It does help that the river drowns out most of the traffic noise.

Room Tip: Rooms 1-4 have the best view.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Boulder Brook. The beautiful scenery with lots of places to enjoy the river and magnificent mountains nourished and renewed my soul. A perfect mountain retreat for anyone!

Room Tip: I stayed in the Country suite and loved it!

My husband and I reserved a suite here for our birthdays in May . We absolutely loved it and will defiantly be back. We had the spa suite with a hot tub and great view! There were a lot of windows and chairs set up right by the river . Perfect for enjoying the scenery. The bed was so comfortable, nice linens and fireplace. Our room also had a. Kitchenette . It was so quiet and peaceful . The owners really pay attention to detail. They were very friendly and knowledgable. We are thankful for a fabulous relaxing weekend. I can't wait to be back.

Room Tip: Choose suite # 1. It's an end unit right next to the mountain.

This was our first trip to Colorado, and we did not know what to expect. Our goal was to both relax with a mountain view, and to hike into Rocky Mountain National Park each day of our stay. We went online to view several properties, and not knowing anyone else who had visited the Estes Park area, we were "flying blind" so to speak.

Upon checking in, we knew we had made the right decision by staying in Boulder Brook. The room was immaculate, with floor to ceiling windows alighting on the Fall River nestled by trees. The room was spacious enough for the two of us, with a huge, comfortable bed, ample kitchen space, a jacuzzi tub, and a wonderful porch with two rocking chairs. The surrounding grounds were spotless, and the staff was extremely courteous.

Each day we would get up early, hike the mountains for a few hours, and then come back to our spa suite exhausted yet feeling somewhat as if we had come "home." Even after going to dinner each night, we seemed to rush back so we could sit on the porch, relax with a few drinks, and simply watch the river flow by. Several Elk made their way onto the grounds, as well, and on our last evening, three of them made their way through the river right in front of our suite!

Simply put, we will stay in Boulder Brook for our future visits to Estes Park, of which I hope there are many! I can't recommend this place highly enough!!

Room Tip: For couples, I highly recommend the spa suites; there are 8 of them. We were in Spa Suite 6. It'...

Stayed here for an anniversary and quick weekend getaway. The condo opened up to a nice patio and two chairs right on Fall River. The room was at the end and secluded from traffic noise and you could easily hear the river. The location was only a few minutes away from the downtown area and easy to find. Definitely plan on going back!

Room Tip: Go for the room with the jacuzzi tub. Open the windows at night and sit in the tub and listen to the...

We stayed here for a girls weekend and stayed in the one bedroom suite upstairs. Even for FIVE girls it was amazing! Outside of our balcony we had this amazing stream that we could listen to forever! The suite had a full kitchenette, the only down fall was there was no stove. Other that that it was equipped for everything we needed! The bathroom was spacious and the spa tub was so nice. It has plenty of sitting areas with heat lamps during the cold temps and also a hot tub available! The owners obviously put personal touches included as well- when we arrived their was games, cards, books, for entertainment in addition to bottled water and popcorn! Very sweet! Dee Dee at the front desk was awesome, Amber not so much. Overall, we had a great girls weekend and we would definitely come back or recommend !

My husband and I decided to take a weekend getaway, based on a promotion on Living Social. This property is beautiful, the staff are so nice, and we definitely hope to repeat a visit. We stayed in a Spa Suite and thoroughly enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi with view of the river and tall fir trees, gas fireplace, and two-shower heads - all perfect for a couples romantic weekend. There was also a small kitchen with microwave, full stove/oven, small refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffeemaker which was nice to enjoy leisurely meals in your own room. The bed linens and pillows are of excellent quality and very comfortable. There was a loveseat in the room with several soft throws to cuddle up and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV. There is a nice outdoor hot tub which we didn't utilize since we were happy with our own jacuzzi. The resort was so quiet; we never heard neighbors in rooms on either side of us, and no traffic noise from the road at all. Just the babbling brook outside if you opened your back door or window. The property is in a great location, just a few miles to the Fall River entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, and just a few miles to the Stanley Hotel and downtown Estes Park in the other direction.
