Streamside on Fall River is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly and nice. The layout of the cabins and condos is a wonderful arrangement and takes advantage of the location among the trees. Lots of wildlife, constant flowing water in the stream, wonderful views and a very homey atmosphere make this place very relaxing. The location is very convenient to the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park and very close to town. Even thought it is close to town, it doesn’t seem to be that way. It is very quiet and you feel like you are deep in nature.
The rooms are equipped with all that you need if you don’t want to eat out. Lots of extras in the rooms, like a DVD player, Gas BBQ cooker, full size refrigerator and even a dishwasher. The office has DVDs and games that you can check out free of charge.
The facilities are very well maintained. The grounds are clean and kept up nicely. The hot tub and wave pool are a nice way to relax at the end of the day. My grandson said it was his favorite part of our vacation.
I have stayed in several other places in Estes Park and this one is the best. Hotel rooms can be found cheaper, but it is well worth the extra money for a cabin or condo that has all of the extras. I believe we actually saved money by making our own meals at the condo, rather than eating out.
I highly recommend this place to stay in Estes Park and will go back soon myself!

We have taken trips throughout the years to Estes Park and have stayed at many properties however, our favorite by far is Streamside on Fall River. Our recent stay in April for 3 days was so memorable we are already booking another getaway and we are barely unpacked. The folks at Streamside go above and beyond to ensure that our stay is always an enjoyable one and that everything is top notch. The private hot tub on the deck was warmed to perfection and they even stopped by to make sure the temperature was just right. The riverside private deck and grill gave us a relaxing area to look at the stars and prepare our meals at our leisure. The herd of elk lounging around our cabin for the entire afternoon one day was absolutely breathtaking, if you haven't experienced being this close to nature and wildlife, there's no better place for viewing these magnificient animals up close in such a relaxed environment. Overall in our opinion, Streamside on Fall River is the best that Estes Park has to offer.

Excuse me--we made a booking and had to cancel 6 months in advance of stay. They kept 25% which amounted to around $75.00.this is the worst customer relations experience i have ever had. I can't believe they would in essence steal my money

Stayed: August 2007

My husband and I stayed at Streamside for the first three nights of our honeymoon to Rocky Mountain National Park. We stayed in cabin/condo #25. The condo was very clean and equipped with a full kitchen. The unit faces Fall River (lovely!) and the backs up to a wooded area near Hwy 34--but you can barely hear or see the road. The property is very pretty, and the cabins are cozy and updated with a "cabin" feel. The front patio had a new-looking gas grill, a hammock, and a table and chairs. The jetted tub was very nice, too!

The only small "problem" was that some light bulbs were burned out. We did not ask to have them replaced, to be fair. The porch light could not be turned off, and it attracted bugs.

Overall, I would recommend Streamside to a friend. It seemed a bit pricey to us, but it would be a bargain for a family (our unit had beds for at least four people) or guests who wanted to cook their meals there.

It was overall an average cabin suite that we stayed in. I wish that there would have been more of a 'cabin' decor displayed throughout the interior. The best part that sold me was the private hot tub overlooking Fall River. I'm still not sure that it was worth the hefty price tag that went with it. Staff was courteous but not fully available. Great location.
