“Peaceful location”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

We stayed in 507. There was 4 people in our party. We didn't use the sofa bed but brought along a queen size air mattress for the girls to sleep on (felt it would be more comfortable then the sofa bed) and it fit perfectly between the sofa and TV. The room was clean and had all the pots, pans and kitchen utensils that was needed. There isn't an air conditioner so the rooms got a little warm during the day (since we was out exploring during the day that was not an issue) but cooled down during the night and we had to close the windows before morning because it got cold. We had housekeeping everyday and they did a good job in keeping the rooms clean, The location was wonderful. Close to town but peaceful. The only complaint I have is that the spa pool didn't seem to be very clean therefore we didn't use it.

We had a wonderful time at Streamside on Fall River! The property is nicely kept and the staff strives for excellence. Our accommodations were updated, neat and clean. Julie was wonderful to work with as she helped coordinate our reunion activities and made sure every detail was carried through. We stayed in the condo unit. Another in our party stayed in #10. It was perfect for our group of 14. We liked that the property is located just outside of town and that the river runs right through it.

Room Tip: If you are taking a group, be sure to reserve #10. It has a large covered deck and no curfew!

We loved our stay in our little cabin. Great beds, full kitchen, big shower. A short wall from the Fall River and fishing. The ten o'clock quiet time was super important to us! This is not a "party" cabin spot, it is quiet and quality.

Planning our visit for the second week in July, 2013 began with a web search of accommodations in Estes Park in January 2013. I was extremely pleased that I chose Streamside on Fall River. I didn't know what to expect with choosing lodging via the internet. When we rolled into our destination we were in amazement of the surroundings of our cabin #15. The river is outside the door with a sitting bench and a picnic table. Aspen and pine trees all around the property and a spacious lawn behind our cabin made for an idyllic setting. The hammock in the yard was a wonderful place to relax and really forget the everyday grind we left behind. The interior of our cabin made us feel right at home with the conveniences of a kitchen, television, dvd player, and free Wi-Fi service. The cabin included a queen size bed and a pull out queen sofa. The vanity area was spacious as was the bathroom with a tub/shower. The main living room had a corner gas fireplace, which we didn't need in July but my grandson had to try it out. Outside on our back patio deck there was a gas fired grill and hot tub with powerful jets. We needed that hot tub to ease our aches after hiking, white water rafting, and horseback riding. The swimming pool and hot tubs in the main recreation building was also a great place to relax. We were extremely pleased with our experience and I highly recommend Streamside on Fall River.

We just got back from a 4 night stay at Streamside and we had a wonderful experience. The cabins are in a perfect location to Rocky Mountain National Park, just 2 miles east of the Fall River VC and entrance; and also just 4 miles west of the Beaver Meadows Entrance. Also just a couple of miles to downtown and close to a running trail that my husband liked to use. The cabins were on the south side of the river, so we were set off the main road a little which was very nice.

Housekeeping comes every day to clean and make beds so our cabin was impeccably clean and orderly. That was so nice! Having a full kitchen with amenities like a dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and Weber Gas Grill on the backyard deck were so nice to be able to cook breakfast easily at home and healthy dinners at night. (Closet grocery store/liquor store was the Safeway, just ~2 miles east of Streamside.)

Having the hot tub was wonderful. We turned the heat much lower for our kids to enjoy during the day. They loved it! Like a giant bath tub for them to play in. And at night, after putting our kids to bed, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub looking at the beautiful sunset and starry night sky, hearing the nearby river and sipping wine. Superb!

We stayed in Cabin 14 and apparently it is "identical" to cabin 15, 16 & 17, however, there were a few tiny things that were 'not perfect' such as the picnic table was on the west side of the cabin with zero shade, so for evening meals, if we wanted to eat outside, we had to sit in the hot sun. Also, there were sprinklers that went off daily and saturated our hammock and the muddy ground underneath it so there was never a chance to use the hammock since it was soaking wet every single day. In addition, while in Estes Park in late June, there was a 'heat wave' where temperatures reached the 90's during the day and it was pretty warm at night in the un-air conditioned cabin. The closets did have box fans inside each one and we propped those up on suitcase racks to help keep us cooler at night.

If we had a choice, I would have picked Cabin 17 since it is next to a horseshoe game area, basketball court, outdoor seating area, plus a quaint bridge going over Fall River.

All in all, I highly recommend these wonderful cabins and we would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: Cabin 14, 15, 16 & 17 are 'identical,' however Cabin 17 is closest to the horseshoe game...

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and did not want to leave! The location is close to downtown Estes Park but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the extensive DVD collection. While Streamside was full just about every night we were there, it was so quiet and peaceful. We spent several hours enjoying the patio, hammock, and grill. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable. Getting to Rocky Mountain National Park from here is very easy. You can't go wrong staying here. It's a true gem!

We stayed at Streamside for our 35th anniversary. The place is so peaceful and clean. The hot tub at night was so relaxing. The wind blew through the pines and the river sounds could be heard, made for a great night's sleep. My husband would lay outside on the hammock to watch hummingbirds feed. On our last night, a bull moose came up and drank the hummingbird feed right out of the feeders. I could stay there forever!

Room Tip: I don't believe that one cabin is any better that the other. Awesome place. Will definitly come...
