We rented a room at the Inn with a jacuzzi overlooking the Fall River....breathtakingly gorgeous! The room was comfortable and attractive, but the best part was sleeping with the window open so we could fall asleep to the sound of the river below. This place was heaven! You can take out a couple of DVDs from the main office to watch in the evening when the sun goes down OR you can sit outside on the balcony at night to admire the moon and stars without the obstruction of city lights at night while listening to the rushing of the river below. Soooo beautiful and relaxing that you won’t want to leave! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're very fond of the Jacuzzi suites and fortunate to have the Fall River run along our property. So glad you enjoyed it as much as we do. Thank you for your review!

We booked a 1 bedroom unit (#244) and it was everything we could have wanted for traveling with a toddler!

From the start a great experience, even when calling and asking a few questions before booking. The staff was very helpful and informative when answering any questions I had. They honored our request for a pack & play (even provided sheets, even though we always bring our own just in case). We were arriving close to closing time for the front desk on the first night and they assured us that they had an after hours procedure for allowing us access to our room, which is a relief if your travel timeline gets delayed.

The unit was clean and comfortable with a full kitchen. Our favorite aspect was the balcony overlooking the river! The sound of running water is automatically relaxing. There is even a little walking path along the river on the backside of the building and a playground area on the other end of the parking lot. One of the highlights of our visit was returning from dinner to find 6 elk roaming around the parking lot! A family experience we won’t ever forget.

Loved how close we were to the RMNP entrance. And the drive to downtown Estes is only a few minutes.

A couple things I would note- we did experience some issues with regulating temperature in the bedroom...we were either too hot or too cold. There is no ceiling fan in the bedroom and unfortunately we didn’t discover the extra fans in the hallway closet until we were cleaning up to leave on the last day. Discovering them sooner would have changed our nighttime experience, but the bed was very comfortable and everything else was exactly what we needed for our stay so I’d still consider it a 5 star rating, especially for the price!

For those traveling with little kids, there are stools, not chairs, in this particular unit (#244) for eating at the kitchen counter. I’m not sure about the other units, but if you’re considering that one you may want to have a pop up/ travel highchair if your child is too little to sit unassisted on a stool. But highly recommend this unit!

Overall we very much enjoyed our time at Fawn Valley Inn and will be recommending it to friends and family and look forward to returning again for our next visit to Estes Park!

We were t sure about this one because of the price but once the guy showed us the room we took it right away. It was like a one bedroom apartment. It had a kitchen and everything. Not to mention the hot tub outside on your private deck overlooking the Thompson river. I would suggest this place to everyone who is going to Estes park. Its well worth the price.

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay here it is, we had room 303 which has a kitchen and a huge bedroom with a king bed, our deck had a hot tub with a great view of the Rocky Mountains, below was a crick that just added to the scenery, no doubt that when we go back to Estes Park this is where we will be staying!!!

Thank you for the feedback! If you'd like to call our front desk and provide the room number we'll see what we can do to improve the lighting and mirrors. The nearest restaurant is 1 mile to our West while the majority are downtown, about 4 miles East of Fawn Valley Inn. We're glad you enjoyed the stay!
