Went for 10th anniversary, and booked a reservation a couple of weeks out (hoping for a balcony view), only to be told upon arrival that the restaurant was closed for the evening because of a wedding party. I had to coax a "sorry" out of the lady at the front, so just make sure this doesn't happen to you! Good that I have an awesome wife who was flexible and sweet about it, and we ate a nice dinner at Sweet Basilico across the street.

Good variety of menu options and our meals, chicken Daytona and scallops with pasta, were delicious. The View is beautiful and makes for a lovely dinner setting- especially a balcony table. Service was ok- and then a large party came in and our server abandoned us. That was the only glitch in the evening. Worth re-visiting in the future!

The dining room is very charming with great views. Service by Karinbe and food were very good. Our son's wedding reception was held here 5 years ago and we have never been disappointed when we make return visits. Suggest making reservations.

Had a great dinner in Estes Park at the View. Call ahead and get one of the three balcony tables that the restaurant has and enjoy the views of the town and the mountains. Service and food was great. Don't understand how other reviews complain about smaller portions. Both my entree and my wife's entree was appropriately sized and along with bread, salad, and desert, is more than enough food. Crags is an authentic historical lodge that is worth taking a look around and enjoying an after dinner drink in the bar after dinner. Will be making a return visit.
