“Great Food, great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

Went to Ed's for a late dinner after this place was recommended to us by a local resident. The front desk staff were very friendly and we asked for a table out on the patio that is along the river. We only waited around 20 minutes for our table. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. I had fish tacos, my husband had the beef chimichangas, one son had the Sunday special, and our other two sons had bacon cheeseburgers. Everything was very good. The Sunday special that was more of a breakfast dish had egg, spinach, potatoes, avocado, tomato and was excellent. Fish tacos were excellent. The cheeseburgers were also good. The only reason I am not rating this place excellent is the waitress we had we efficient, but not friendly at all. When we made a comment about all the choices on the menu and not being sure what to get and wondered what to get, she made no suggestions and just said she'd give us more time and be back. She was just unfriendly overall, which made it impossible for me to give this place a excellent rating.

“Dinner at Ed's”

We enjoyed the buffalo tacos and salad. 30 minute wait for a table - our server was delightful. They have a patio with tables on the river walk.

“River Dining”

Love this place! Consistently good food, good portions, and great outdoor dining under a covered portico. Locally owned, serving surprisingly tasty (Americanized) Mexican food, considering this is a tourist town. Very good beer selection and killer margaritas!!!

“Great meal and the BEST service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

Normally we don't eat Mexican at places we don't have first hand knowledge about but we made an exception when visiting Ed's while on vacation. I am glad we did.

The food was outstanding. I had fajitas, my wife had a burger and the kids had tacos, and all were amazing. The portions were large and we were able to take some food home for the next day.

The service was amazing as well. The server took very good care of us and she was attentive of our needs. Thanks for making this a great experience while on vacation.

“Ole! Ed's serves it forth”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014 via mobile

On our first trip to Estes Park, we blundered into Ed's at about 3:30 PM after some strenuous hiking in the Rocky Mtn. Park. Our server informed us that it was Happy Hour, so we had local beer and tacos and such, all served promptly, and at a good discount. The food was good, nothing to make me fall over from delight, except for the Pico de Gallo sauce, which was excellent. As mentioned before, though, the service was fast, extra friendly, and attentive. Ambience was also great. You go, Ed!
