This place is great I have been going here for years and the atmosphere never disappoints. Great for the family my server took special care of our kids to make them feel welcome and that speaks worlds when you are out with the kids.

We went twice during our short 3 day stay in Estes park. I highly recommend it!! The bison tacos were incredible.

Me and my wife have eaten at Ed's multiple times each of times in Estes Park. They have great everything! I love the fish tacos and burgers the best! The owner and staff have always been excellent.

If you want Mexican food in Estes Park, first remember how far you are from the border. Then decide if you want to wait until you're closer to Mexico, and if you can't wait, then go here. The food is pretty good for CO-Mex and the prices not too bad. Yes you have to pay $2 for chips/salsa, but refills are free. For this location, right by the Big Thompson River in tourist central, this place is actually pretty good. Honestly, there aren't many good places to eat in Estes, so this one is getting a higher rating than if it were in a big city somewhere. You can call ahead to get a table if you don't feel like waiting, but it's a great spot to wait b/c you can go shopping or just walk along the river until your table is ready :)

Ed's is what we would call "fast-food" Mexican. Based on the reviews we were expecting something special and were very disappointed. Service was generally awful - the waiter never offered water and was slow to refill our ice teas. He never checked back with us after he served dinner. We had the fajitas and they were mediocre at best and, at $28 for two, way overpriced. We have been to many Mexican restaurants, but this was the first where we couldn't even get hot sauce! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and couldn't have enjoyed a meal less.
