Description: Open 7 days a week at 4pm Sunday Mornings we are serving Brunch from 10am to 2pm Built in 1937as a dance hall for the Big Band Era, The Rock continues to be a lively gathering place with local flair. In the winter, our two wood-burning stoves keep the room toasty for folks stopping in for a beer or a bite after playing in Rocky Mountain National Park. During the summer season we enjoy stunning continental divide views from our outdoor dining patio. Our menu is an ever evolving blend of hand-crafted, hearty comfort food with a health and planet conscious twist. We aim to fill you up with goodness so you can get back to enjoying the mountains again tomorrow. We feature Certified Angus Beef, All-Natural Colorado chicken, fresh salads, whole grains, organic teas and coffees, local beers, sustainably produced wines, and a full bar. On Many Fridays after dinner, we set-up one of many original Colorado bands on our 76 year old stage, clear the dance floor and boogie all night. Some of the bands playing these days include Chain Station, James and the Devil, Old Town Pickers, The Sweet Lillies, Stringboard Theory, Cadillac Grip Funk, KC Groves, and many more. During the summer time, acoustic music acts play most other nights of the week, sunday nights are a mellower feeling as we host acoustic Colorado songwriters during dinner. You might catch Jon Pickett, Alex Thoele, Sarah Caton, Jay Roemer, Billy Shaddox, Jay Stott, or Terry Kishiyama and Ash Ganley. We also offer a great open bluegrass pick on Thursday nights lead by a few talented local musicians, either joining in on the pick or just sitting back and enjoying the bluegrass, tuesdays are a funny night of music. We look forward to having you join us. Reservations are not accepted, however if you want to give us a call, when you are on your way we will be happy to get a table ready for you or put you on the list. During the off-season there is rarely a wait. In July, August, and September it is best to get here before 6.

We have frequented the Rock Inn several times with our good friends that live in Estes Park and have never been disappointed!
We decided to come up to Estes on NYE to listen to some live music and welcome in 2014 with good friends, food and music. We had an excellent meal and stayed for the live music from the Gristle Gals and got to burn up some of the calories we consumed.
I had the Noodleless Lasagna (using eggplant in place of layered noodles) that was excellent! Lots of vegetables with a marina and cheese sauce. My husband had the Salmon which was moist and tasteful.
Service was great and the atmosphere fun and upbeat! If you're looking for a quiet intimate place you may be disappointed because here the atmosphere is more exuberant with lots of youthful energy. However, we are on our late 50's mid 60's and enjoy the energy every time!

We had intended to eat at the Dunraven Inn, but they were closed. Someone had told his this was a local hangout, so we had no expectations for the food. Service was quick and friendly, and the filet was one of the best I have ever had - great Colorado black angus with a nice crust, tender inside and delicious. Their Red skin potatoes were really good, creamy on the inside and the cooked kale and carrots were very tasty. A nice glass of their house Pinot Noir rounded out the meal. Our table was next to the wood stove, and on a zero degree F night, this was very warm and cozy. Service was excellent throughout the meal service. The decor is mountain village rustic, looking like a log cabin inside. Very unpretentious and lots of locals hanging out at the bar.

We were there a happy hour and ordered the stuffed dates which were small but really an interesting combination of dates, garlic and bacon. Shrimp was good as well, especially the polenta it was served on.
The white pizza was good on a semi thin crust. We added mushrooms and sausage.

They were the rudest staff we have ever encountered. We are all in the service industry and all understand the demands of being waiters and bartenders and we can't even imagine ever treating people like this. We would never refer our friends to this place.

Rock Inn has long been one of our favorite dining spots in Estes Park. We decided to try their new Sunday brunch. IT WAS TERRIFIC! The food was great, the wood stove was warming, service was excellent, and live music was starting up! Check it out!
