The Brynwood was awesome! We relaxed, fished, read, shopped, and walked a ton. The service was great and all of the employees were super kind and accommodating. It is close enough to home, but far enough that it felt like a vacation. We LOVE the Brynwood and would highly recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to go back.

Our family of four, our kids are 11 and 5, LOVED our stay at Brynwood! Our 2 bedroom cabin on the river was one of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. Our kids liked that our fireplace was wood-burning so they could roast marshmallows for s'mores. I liked that I had a full kitchen to cook in...our budget liked that too. Our private hot tub was very clean and really good-sized!! However, the definite "hit of our trip" was Brynwood's outdoor pool area! The pool was so warm and best of all...clean! (Clean is a big deal to me!)
The staff was very nice and helpful and the location was great! It was exactly what we were looking for and are already planning another trip for this year!

Brywood is a good place to stay, as it is close to town & shopping or dining and also close to Rocky Mountain Park. The cabins are cute as each has a different decor. Some cabins have fireplaces as well. The love nest is truely awesome as it has a hot tub on the deck which provides pure relaxation on cool evenings. The swimming pool is always a comfortable temp as well as the spa located there in case your cabin doesn't have a hot tub,,, not to worry. We have stayed here several times and will come back again I'm sure.Be sure to stop at the Donut Shop located down the street for their famous cream cheese cinnamon rolls, get there early as they sell out quickly.

We just got home from one of the best vacations! We relaxed by the river and got to see deer and elk drink out of the river right by the cabin we were staying in! The leaves are gorgeous right now and the elk are bugling...we even saw a fight by two mails. We loved our cabin which was very clean and the beds were comfortable! We love the different theme cabins and were able to look at several while we were there. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Well worth the money and we will definitely be back!!!

Although the location is spectacular, being right beside the Brynwood Mountain stream, this place is WAY overpriced. It appears that new owners have taken over and really don't care one thing about keeping the grounds either manicured or naturalized. Basically, they've just let a bunch of crap grow everywhere. The supposed 'room service' comes and takes the trash everyday, and leave toilet paper/paper towels (only if you call and request) that are of a lesser grade than the outdoor commodes in the National Park! THEY even have the arrogance to ask for large tips for "room service". They've got to be joking! At $300/night, management can PAY their help a decent wage. I would NOT recommend this to anyone as it's overpriced and you can just stay on the other side of the river at the Marriot cabins (which are MUCH larger and nicer) for the SAME MONEY. and the pool???? If you have children under age 4, they'll love this oversized bathtub.

We are sorry you were disappointed in your stay here at Brynwood. We have been the same owners of Brynwood since 1979. Brynwood is in a natural setting with wild flowers in the spring, lots of pine trees etc. We do mow and weed eat any overgrown grass. We have people stop all the time to tell us we have the most beautiful grass in town, which isn't natural, but we put a lot of work into it! As far as room service, we state everywhere on all of our information that these are "housekeeping cabins". Our services are to empty your trash daily and change out your towels. If you stay 5 days or more, we change your sheets, vacuum, clean your bathroom etc. 2 or 3 days into your stay or even upon request if you would like them changed. If you spill something at any time we vacuum it up! We respond quickly to any requests or problems you might have...you just have to ask! The motel portion has full daily maidservice where we make your beds etc. The quality of our T.P. is to prevent sewer problems, we went with single ply instead of double ply. You were never asked for a large tip...we have tip envelopes in the cabins if you are so inclined, but it is never asked of or required...our cleaning staff work extra hard to make your stay comfortable and clean! I hadn't heard of the Marriot Cabins on the other side of town or even in Estes Park, so I Googled them....sure enough, they don't exist! The closest Marriot is in Loveland an hour away from the mountains and being right on the river! Again, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.

We stayed in the motel section. Very clean and roomy rooms. Tried to get the cabins by the river but can't ask for too much if one reserves only one week before the long labor day weekend!
Although our room was next to the road the noise wasn't that bad. The view of the Rocky Mountains from our room was lovely.

Booked this as a 2 bedroom cabin. Well, the "bedrooms" were walled off spaces, that JUST FIT beds, you could barely stand up in either room. One has no door. Awfully disappointed, this was to be our special family time with the grandkids we only get to see once a yr. My daughter, who has stayed there before, said the hotel rooms were bigger than the cabin.

We are sorry to here you were disappointed in the 11th Aero Squadron theme cabin. The cabin was decorated by my father-in-law before he passed away. It took him 3 years to collect the documents and other interesting WWI items you see hanging on the walls. He was a retired pilot who flew for Western Airlines and put all he had into the decor of this cabin. The small bedroom is for just a couple of kids. The master is larger with a queen bed etc. The living room and kitchen are quite spacious...the motel rooms don't have couches, full kitchens and fireplaces. If you are an aviation buff or enjoy history of WWI, you would appreciate the work put into our 11th Aero Squadron!!! We have had letters written to us and notes left by guests showing appreciation for the care and effort Gene Oliver put into this cabin.
