2 Adult/1Bedroom Stay- Recently stayed in the Candytuft Cabin for 2 nights with family while they were in town and the cabin was adorably perfect! It was very clean and we were impressed that although it was one of the smaller cabins, it still had everything needed to cook and be comfortable. The staff was also very courteous and helpful! I felt that Amberwood was very affordable as well and it is conveniently located between Rocky Mountain National Forest, the Stanley Hotel, and the lovely town/shopping strip in Estes Park. Just as a note because I could not tell from the pictures prior to our stay, these cabins, along with the other rental cabins in the area, are close together so if you are looking for something private, this may not be ideal. It was great for our adventures exploring the mountains though. Thanks Dave! :)

3 Adults stayed in one of the one bedroom small cabins at Amberwood for a couple of nights. It was perfect for what we were looking for and very budget friendly. The cabins aren't big but with the deck and picnic table in front of the cabin we felt we had ample space. There is full kitchen and we had no problem preparing meals. The bathroom and shower were actually much bigger than I expected and must have been recently remodeled as it was quite nice. We had to use the pull out couch to sleep on given that we had three adults and I must say it was one of the most comfortable pull outs I have ever used. Dave was also a pleasure to meet and deal with. Really couldn't have asked for more. Might be a tight squeeze in the small cabins for kids but for adults looking for a quiet place to use as a base camp to explore Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park this place is perfect! Thanks Dave!

We stayed in the Hollyhock cabin for 4 nights and had a great time. Dave is super nice and friendly. The cabin had everything we needed, was clean, and comfortable. We love the rustic feel and look! The daily dirty towel exchange and trash take-out was very convenient. The location was ideal! RMNP a couple miles down the road one way and downtown Estes Park a couple miles the other. Perfect vacation spot! We would definitely stay here again!

The hummingbird nest was our home for a week. This little bungalow was perfect for us and our kids ages 9 & 11. We loved having a full kitchen and outdoor grill. Our beers stayed cold and the shower never ran out of hot water.

We spent 4 nights in the Lodge (room 19) and were quite pleased. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a nice queen-sized bed, 2 armchairs, a wood fireplace, coffeemaker, small fridge and microwave. A communal ice maker allowed us to keep beverages in our cooler. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony in the mornings and watching the sun set behind the mountains in the evenings. Frequent visitors included a few hummingbirds, a Stellar Jay, a woodpecker, and countless magpies and chickadees.

The owners, Dave and LeNelle, will go out of their way to accommodate their guests' needs. The room was sparkling clean upon check-in, and was freshened up daily. This is a great little getaway for those looking for comfortable, quiet, and budget-friendly accommodations. We'll definitely come back here.

We had a great stay in the Spa Suite that was even better than advertised. The suite was very cozy and updated. We sat on the porch to enjoy our morning coffee with a great view of the mountains. Dave could not have been more helpful and accommodating and we look forward to a return visit!

I love the Amberwood! The host, Dave is very helpful and very kind.
The grounds are very well maintained and the cabins are beautiful!
The view is great and only minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park.
The beds are comfy and the cabins are clean. With regards to the posted
comment about dust, welcome to the mountains...lol. It's not that bad.
If you wanted perfection, then go stay at the Park Plaza...lol. This is true
mountain living at its best! I highly recommend the Amberwood. You can't beat the rates!
