This is a dinner only place which offers classic beef and game focused fare in a historic log cabin mountain lodge with exposed wood beams and scenic mountain views. We arrived quite early and didn't need reservations on a Monday evening but the place was full when we left and so I strongly suggest reservations. Even though this is an upscale place, it is also informal and one can dress quite casually to come here. The menu is mainly beef and game with a few other options. I had a delicious filet mignon which was very good but not quite in the excellent range. Same situation with the sides--very good but nothing superlative. Prices were pretty reasonable in that most entrees were under $30. The decor and ambiance in this place is very nice making it an appropriate special occasion type of place. Service was appropriate for a place of this caliber and cost. The bottom line is that we liked this place quite a bit but we didn't "love" it. By contrast, we really loved the Sweet Pacifico restaurant.
