4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2010

My room was small and could use a better clean, but the location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. I slept well in the comfortable bed and the room was well heated, even without lighting the fireplace. The location was perfect! It is at the foot of a mountain but still central to estes park, I didn't have a car so it was a great location to walk to shops in town yet it still felt very much in the mountains. I loved estes park, I stayed over christmas and experienced my first snow here, the town was quiet and the national park was spectacular.

I went with our grown daughter for a mother/daughter weekend to get out of the Texas heat. What a great place! Close to everything.. We never needed the car for any place within Estes Park. Minutes from the entrance of RMNP. The owners are very nice and accomodating. I'm a Diet Coke fanatic in the morning (instead of coffee)..when I asked
where I could walk to store to buy one the owner went into his own fridge and gave me 3 of theirs! A life saver in my opinion! Loved the lodge...highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet place (mountain literally behind our room) .. but walking distance to everything.

This place was in a good location but the price was way too high! You got a very small room and the bath was even smaller. Should have checked on anothe place before staying there! Did only stay the one night and left and got another place with more room and lower price.

What a great place to stay in Estes Park! Close to town and both entrances to RMNP. Because of its location, you can easily navigate around the busy streets to get to the park. Plus, you're about a block away from main street. The owners are wonderful and provide great advice for places to go and see. They make you feel like you're relatives visiting from out of state.

The staff at Misty Mountain was awesome! The lady at the desk was wonderful and very helpful when we had questions about where we could eat dinner and what was fun to do in the area. We came at the off season, so there was some limits to what we could do in the area, but the staff helped us find fun things to do!

It is a great location - Right by downtown and not far from RMNP! It's a fabulous stay! We stayed in a suite room and it was soooo fun cooking on a gas stove! There is a TV and they rent out DVD's and a player at the office, and it's free!

My only complaint is that the beds are a little hard, but over all it's a great location with a wonderful view and plenty to do around you - Even in the Winter!

No pool, but they do have a hotel!

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Misty Mountain for 5 days, and had a wonderful time. It's amazingly convenient to both downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners are wonderful folks, and went out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. Our cabin, though rustic in decor, had all the conveniences you'd expect, and a beautiful fireplace to boot. We really enjoyed seeing all the elk, and playing in 6" of snow on day 2. Highly recommended for a stay in Estes.
