“Beautiful Cabin and Scenery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

My family and I stayed four nights at Solitude Cabins. Our cabin had two bedrooms with king size beds, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, living room, and kitchen that had almost any appliance/thing you'd need. It was very clean and a home away from home. The office staff was very nice and helpful. The view from our deck was breathtaking. I would recommend these cabins to anyone that was traveling to Estes Park. Within 5 minutes from the cabin is downtown Estes with shopping, food, and parks.

Friends and I got a cabin a few weeks ago to stay the night before hiking the next morning! Had a great experience! It is a beautiful location, with large, beautiful cabins with ready access to everything in Estes Park! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend get-a-way!

The cabins are in a great location with easy access to downtown Estes, the YMCA of the Rockies (we hit up the "Craft Barn!), and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Don’t even consider staying anywhere else in Estes Park – Solitude Cabins are terrific! This was our third visit to Solitude and it now feels like home. We won't stay anywhere else. The setting is incredible and the location is so convenient to pretty much anything you want to do. Our cabin, which was really a large, two bedroom/two bath cabin home, was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Each cabin is upscale and luxurious – the soft sheets are divine. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace and on the deck with views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin had a wall of windows facing the view, so you get that feeling of being in nature even while sitting at the dining room table enjoying a meal. It's easy to get to everything in town but you are spared any traffic noise and it feels like you are off in a mountain park alone. The managers and staff are exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend Solitude Cabins to anyone staying in Estes Park. It's a wonderful place.

Room Tip: Each cabin we've stayed in has been terrific from a location standpoint. They are all situated...

My loved ones and I stayed at Solitude in April and were so pleased with the accommodations. As noted in other reviews, the cabins are located at the beginning of Estes Valley, providing easy access to town, quiet space, and stunning views. Our cabin was tastefully appointed with a Colorado mountain lodge theme and contained every creature comfort, up to a jacuzzi bathtub! The owners were very personable and put extra care into the breakfast basket we'd order, including big mugs with Solitude's label that I now enjoy using for tea. The spacious, beautiful cabins were the perfect respite between journeys to town and the park. Next time we're booking a Colorado trip, Solitude will again be our home base. Many thanks to the owner of the cabin for providing such a memorable experience.

Room Tip: Our cabin was close to the road, which wasn't busy, and gave us a better view than some of the c...

I have stayed in these cabins a few different times. The location is perfect, unlike many locations farther up the canyon towards the park these are easy to access even during the peak season because they are before you get into town. There is a shuttle that can take you in to town. It is quiet but bring good shoes as some of the cabins sit a bit away from the parking lots. The cabins are clean and the atmosphere is quiet. The hot tub is perfect on a cool night and the staff is very nice.

My husband and I have stayed at Solitude Cabins several times, and feel that this resort is the best place to stay in Estes Park. The cabins are beautiful, well-furnished, clean, and spacious. They are located in a serene mountain setting, with gorgeous mountain views, majestic pine trees and aspen trees, and are within walking distance of Lake Estes. The resort is located 2.5 miles from the many shops and restaurants of Estes Park, yet they are in a quiet and peaceful environment. The cabins all have outdoor decks, so that guests can gaze at the beautiful mountains, and view the abundant wildlife. The fireplaces in each cabin create a cozy atmosphere. My husband and I like to "cozy up" to the fireplace with a cup of coffee, and feast our eyes on the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over Longs Peak. We also appreciate the friendly managers at Solitude, who are very accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. Solitude Cabins is truly the best place to stay in Estes Park, Colorado.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Solitude. The cabins are furnished beautifully and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 and we especially enjoyed utilizing the deck and grill for family dinners. Having stayed in other parts of Estes, we have gotten used to dealing with the traffic that accompanies the more downtown locations. Solitude is perfectly off the beaten path, yet still close enough to town to enjoy all it has to offer. Solitude will be our new home away from home in the future.

You pointed out one of the best features of Solitude Cabins...Not on the beaten path. It is hard to imagine that we are just two miles away from all the amenities of town, because it is so quiet and peaceful on our side of town.
