My husband and I have stayed at Dripping Springs twice now and have loved it both times! The location is amazing and the private hot tubs are a huge bonus if you spend your days hiking in RMNP! Even if you don't, the hot tubs are still awesome! Definitely sign up for the home cooked breakfasts! They are delicious and it's a neat way to meet new friends and share adventure stories! We are Dripping Springs lifers!

I had a couple of random days off mid-week and decided to get out of town. I called Janey and she was able to get us a room - and what a cute little room! We stayed in the Prairie Spirit room - lots of thoughtful touches and a CLEAN hot tub. Dripping Springs is a wonderful little gem - a beautiful area along the river with neat places to stop and read, relax or fish. Breakfast was homemade, and the peaches and cream oatmeal was amazing! Was able to stay an extra day and enjoy everything. Janey and John were wonderful hosts, we will be back/

We stayed at the Drippings Springs Resort a few weeks ago my Fiance and I. And we were very pleased. It had all the amenties we were looking for. A lot of places offer your own private hot tub but they are dirty and you don't eve feel like getting in. The hot tubs were very clean, room very clean and the whole atmosphere and location was excellent. One of the best parts that my Fiance and I have never done is Bed and Breakfast which you can pay for even in you are in the cabins and the Breakfast was homemade and out of this world well worth it and it was so nice to sit around the table with other guests and learn about each other and also places that they explored in Estes Park. Will be back for sure!

We checked in on June 13th and stayed until June 16th. This was an Anniversary celebration for us, but we were supposed to be at the resort the weekend of the 21st. but because of an upcoming surgery for my husband, Janie was able to fit us in the weekend before.. Thanks so much for this.
We stayed in Pine Canopy room and it was wonderful with a private deck with a hot tub. We had ordered flowers and candles as a nice start to our celebration and could not have been more pleased as they were in our room when we arrived and the roses gave our room a wonderful scent the whole time we were there..
Breakfast each morning is also a pure pleasure, the food is to die for and the conversation is even better.
Friday night John made us a nice campfire down by the river and sat around and told stories and even one couple went for a walk and came back engaged. That is what this place does to u.. it makes u fall in love or in love all over again.
Thank u Janie, Oliver and John for a very wonderful relaxing getaway!.. We will be back for sure and I will tell everyone that wants to go to Estes Park that this resort is a must stay.

My husband and I took our chances and drove up Big Thompson Canyon to find a place for the night. We had been here about 15 years ago and when we found it we were delighted to see that they had a vacancy!
This B&B is just delightful!! Nestled in the woods along the river, there are several rooms - like in the days of the old motels - on ground level. They also have a 2 story buidling with rooms. We stayed in the Pine Canopy room - it was Heaven!! The queen size canopy bed, draped in sheers, is a "Select Comfort Sleep Number Bed", with lots of cushy pillows and twinkle lights in the canopy! There is a small fridge, free Wifi, wine glasses and a tea pot, as well as flat screen tv with cable or satellite.
The covered front porch has 2 old fashioned rocking chairs and a mountain view. The back door leads to a private, outdoor, enclosed deck with a hot tub and twinkle lights overhead. That with a glass of wine was what we needed after a tiring day. We could hear the river as we relaxed. It was wonderful.
Owners Janie and Oliver were delightful! VERY pleasant, personable and accomodating. And their "hired hand", John, is a comic delux. They are all very knowledgable about the history of the area and of this place, built in 1926. It is fascinating!
We love that it is near the river and you can walk down to it and around the property. They have a wonderful cabin near the river for massages. We didnt get to take advantage of that, but will next time!
We didnt see any wildlife while we were there, but stayed for only one night. They do have 3 adorable, rescue dachsunds who are precious.
In the morning you are treated to a complimentary breakfast that was delicious! All homeade items - a full meal for sure. The oatmeal with raisins was to die for as well as polenta, mixed fruit, eggs, hashbrown and sausage casserole, homemade bread, jellies, OJ, coffee, the works! It is served in a great rustic dining room so everyone can meet and talk - we met some great people from Boston and Chicago.
This place is very clean and the rates are extremely reasonable! We hated to leave and will definitely be back soon to spend several days - before Janie and Oliver retire!!

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are probably great. We had the Pine Canopy - cozy and comfortable - with a pr...

Janie fit us in last minute with our little dog, Butter. The cabin was perfect for decompressing from East Coast life. We ended up staying an extra day lounging in the mountain air in our private hot tub overlooking the creek. We plan to bring the family back next May for vacation in the family area.

Room Tip: Couples are far away from kids and the landscape and babbling creek keep noise to minimum

My husband and I recently stayed at Dripping Springs. It was incredible. The hospitality was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, cabins very clean. The hot tubs on the decks were definitely and added bonus as well as the massage cabin near the water. The grounds were very well kept and on the river. Beautiful views & private fishing. It is like they pretty much give you the place to yourself. We would go back every time. Owners were very accomodating and friendly. I cannot say enough great things about the place! Janie offered a military discount. This was so appreciated.
