First-time to Estes Park and the accomodations and staff at Dripping Springs was absolutely wonderful. If you need to escape from reality and get lost in time to yourselves this is the perfect location...you won't be disappointed!

We loved our weekend stay at Dripping Springs Resort. It was peaceful and quiet. We stayed in the Twin Pines Cottage Room and loved it. The private hot tub on the patio was a must, esp after hiking in Rocky Mtn National Park! I would def recommend this place to any couple looking to get away and relax. Janie, Oliver, and John were amazing! The breakfast each morning was a treat and delicious. We will definitely stay in the future. Thanks!!

My wife and I stayed at the Pinewood Cabin during the last week in September. We were looking for a quiet, private, peaceful place to relax, and Dripping Springs delivered. Although the Pinewood is right next to another cabin, the way the porches and yards are situated makes it feel very private. Mornings were spent reclining in the Adirondack chairs beside the babbling river with a good book. Every evening, we would relax in the private hot tub under the stars. For a change of scenery, we could walk to the resort's aspen grove and rock in a hammock. It is a terrific setting, exactly what we wanted.

Janie, Oliver, and John were delightful hosts, very responsive to inquiries and requests. Breakfast was good and their restaurant recommendations were can't-miss.

There are a few things to be aware of before booking your stay. The Pinewood Cabin's kitchen is tiny, with little counter space for food preparation. It's nice to have a fridge to store leftovers and a microwave to heat them, just don't expect to cook many four-course meals. The bathroom is very basic, with just enough hot water for two quick showers. The bedroom is quaint and cozy, with a very soft bed. It was cool enough overnight to turn on the heater in the morning, which unfortunately had a very loud fan. (This would not be an issue most of the year.) The resort has Wifi on the grounds, but we could not get a consistent signal at our cabin. In other words: the cabin is rustic, just as their website declares.

I just point these out so you can set your expectations appropriately; hopefully they will not dissuade you. We had a memorable, very satisfying stay and would recommend Dripping Springs to our friends.

We stayed 3 lovely nights at Dripping Springs in the Thunderbird Cabin. We were greeted with the most charming people John, Janie, and Oliver. We were treated as if we were friends from way back and it was a our first time there. The property was beautiful and very relaxing to walk around or sit by the river enjoying the quiet life of nature. Our cabin was quite comfortable, clean, and very quiet. We thouroghly enjoyed the hottub in the evenings under the stars and the vast quietness of the mountain surroundings. This trip and accomodations could not have been any better.
