“Very Cozy and Quaint”
Reviewed 14 July 2013 via mobile

We stayed in cabin #19 and #27, they were both very nice. Cabin #19 was right by the pool, volleyball, and activity/game room. It also had a beautiful porch swing and relaxing Jacuzzi tub. Cabin #27 was secluded and was HUGE!!!! It had the most adorable fireplace. Everything was there you could need. While on cabin #27 we even had the pleasure of being visited by some deer. It was a great experience we were close to pretty everything. I would definitely recommend as well as stay again.

We had a great time at Valhalla. We stayed in cabin #18. The pictures online don't do it justice. It has its own private driveway off the main road. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We didn't swim in the pool or hot tub but they both looked very relaxing. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin. It was very clean. I was surprised at how clean the 2 bathrooms were. The living room was spacious and the deck was lovely with a grill and picnic table. We grilled and ate outside most every night. Valhalla Resort is a little way out of town but not too far. We did not have to deal with noise or traffic. The only complaint I would have is that the bedrooms are small. Mine had a double bed, dresser and a box like closet that left a very narrow walk way around the bed. We lived with it though as we all had our own room and could go there for privacy.

Valhalla Resort is a great place to stay. The cabin was very clean and updated with all the amenities plus management left the cabin lights on for us as we arrived late. The rates are very reasonable as well.
We didn't try the community hot tub so can't comment on that however each individual cabin has a new gas grill on the deck for cooking out.
There were deer and elk grazing throughout the resort and the scenery is magnificent plus it is literally right next to Rocky Mountain National Park. We will definitely stay here again!

This is an awesome little resort with great cabins, lots of things to do, beautiful scenery, and easy access to Estes Park. In addition, you have quick access to Rocky Mountain National Park. We loved our stay. The cabins are perfect for family vacations. Plenty of beds, amenities, and peace. We will definitely be taking our family back. The value is really unbelievable, especially if you go in the off peak times such as early spring. For those of you who love the Rockies and want a restful and relaxing home base for a few days, I highly recommend Valhalla.

I took my two sons on a mini vacation in April and booked a cottage at Valhalla (with a hot tub); and I must say, I was totally impressed. Our cottage #16 was a two bedroom with a hot tub and a gas fireplace. So cozy, we all three loved it. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook a fine meal; not to mention, the BBQ grill on the back porch. The place had a very homey feeling about it. I have nothing but good things to say about this place! You won't regret a stay here :)

My kids and I recently took a mini vacation to Vallhalla Resort and we were absolutely satisfied with this place! Not only was there spectacular views at the Resort, but we were minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a great experience and I am making it a yearly trip to Valhalla Resort. The staff was very helpful and courteous!

Room Tip: I would recommend getting a room close to the office just in case you have questions. Their kitchens...
