My wife and I stayed here overnight this week. It's a great location near the Gem Lake trailhead. We stayed out in the cottage which was very nice. Eric is a great host and makes a phenomenal breakfast.. He can offer you advice on pretty much everything about Estes Park if you need it.. We will be coming back for sure!

The multi-talented, ever-ready Eric and his lovely wife Caprissa, the brains behind the B&B operation, make the Gilded Pine Meadows a most unique and enjoyable stay. Nothing is fake about this dynamic duo, what you see is what you get. And what you get is down-home hospitality with a superb breakfast in a warm environment by genuinely kind and generous people. You feel welcomed because you welcome.
Thanks, from James and Dominga

Room Tip: All rooms were equally pleasant.

My husband and I stumbled across this B&B while planning a quick mountain getaway over the 4th of July, and it couldn't have been a luckier stroke of fate. The house itself is full of history – practically a museum unto itself – and our room (Sterling) made up for its small size by having a very comfortable bed and a Swedish shower... the two things you need most after wandering around Rocky Mtn National Park all day. Breakfast was awesome; better than you can get at most restaurants, and coming from Denver (a city not lacking for fantastic brunch spots), I like to think that's saying something. I cleaned my plate both times.

But what really made the stay exceptional were the hosts, Eric and Caprissa. By the time we headed to bed on our first night, we felt like we'd known them far longer than just a few hours. They made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we stepped through the front door till the moment we left. We loved our conversations together, and got plenty of great advice from Eric on how to navigate the craziness of downtown Estes Park on a holiday weekend. Enjoyed every minute we spent here – I only wish we could have stayed longer! The weekend flew by far too quickly.

Eric and Caprissa were very gracious hosts. We enjoyed hearing about the house and how they came to own and run the historic home. We stayed in the Boyd room which was very comfortable. They recommended a few places to eat and we selected Smokin Dave's BBQ. Eric and Caprissa's breakfast in the morning was amazing. Thank you both.

My wife and I left the toddler with Grandma and spent the weekend at this wonderful little Bed and Breakfast. Eric and Caprissa were entertaining, inviting, and helpful. We stayed in the Keyhole Cottage and we loved it. The cottage rustic yet comfortable thanks in part to Eric’s expert and discrete service. He manages to make the cottage’s temperature and ambiance perfect for your return from hiking or dining or whatever.

Intelligent and entertaining conversation are available whenever is convenient and the breakfast was both tasty and filling.

We’ll definitely be going back!
