We really enjoyed our 1-hour ride in Estes Park with Brooke. Everyone we dealt with at the ranch--from the cashier to the person who helped us get on our horses to our guide--was extremely friendly and helpful. The views from the top of the hill on our ride were magnificent. Brooke, our guide, was fun and knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and the horses, and the kids loved her. Our group size was perfect with 6 people, and the horses were beautiful, cooperative, and obviously well cared for. Great business, and a fun time.

Our wranglers, Cherry and Melissa, were professional and wonderful with us. My oldest son's saddle fell off his horse. They quickly calmed his horse and took care of him and got him back on the horse. My youngest son was terrified of his horse, but Melissa took great care and wound up guiding he and his horse. We rode up a tall trail into the Roosevelt National Forest after leaving Sombrero Ranchlands. Ate a nice cowboy steak dinner with beans and potatoes. The steaks, even for my husband who likes rare steaks, were a little too rare. Our kids loved the meal. The ranch rescues some of the horses and works with them to be good trail horses. My horse was funny because he liked to wander off and eat grass. It was a good experience for me many years after bailing off a horse a few days before Christopher Reeve had his accident.

We took the 2 hour ride. We have been on other trail rides before, but this one was the best one we have been on. The staff is very friendly, and make sure that you are safe and comfortable on the ride. They are also very knowledgeable about the area. The scenery was wonderful, and we will definitely be back.

Took my friends on a great breakfast ride....we've done their other rides at their other stables (which are all fun too) and the breakfast ride was such a unique experience, no one else in Estes Park offers anything similar. They take your picture on the way out (no need to worry about getting a good photo or memory) and then stop halfway for breakfast (eggs, sausage, juice, nothing gourmet but good) and then ride back to the stables. They make it really easy to ride with them!
