Aspen Winds on Fall River

My husband and I were wanting a quiet, rustic feeling cabin with great views. We were not disappointed. The Aspen Winds was exactly what we were looking for. We read other reviews saying their cabin was noisy but we heard absolutely nothing except for the water running down the creek outside our balcony which just added to our experience. Very clean cabin and the front desk couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Would definitely recommend Aspen Winds to anyone visiting Estes Park.

I came up to Estes for a weekend photography seminar at Rocky Mountain National Park and was extremely pleased staying here. I had to be up at 4:00 a..m. Both mornings to shoot sunrises inside the park with my group. It worked out so well because I acme back for mid-day rests and went to bed early both nights, and it was so quiet at all times. Loved our condo, very spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable and roomy. The owners were wonderfully helpful and friendly, and I will unquestionably stay here again!

The bride and I have stayed at Aspen Winds three times now. It has become our "go-to" getaway room. The owners are very friendly and helpful with suggestions of dining and activities around town. They even remember us now, which is very impressive considering the amount of customers they must see each year. I recommend one of the jacuzzi suites that are close to the river, it is very nice to be able to relax in a huge tub and hear the rushing waters just a few feet away. If you need some quality couples time, this is the place to go.

We stayed one night in April 2013. Clean room, good Wi-Fi and Netflix. Nice to have the river in view outside. BUT there was a lot of noise, I would say the room shook with the vibration of some machine - possibly the pump of the jacuzzi in a nearby room. It ran until after 23.00 and started at 08.00 next day. There was a lot of other noise from plumbing and refrigerators. We were going to stay two nights, but after very little sleep, we changed our mind.

Aspen Winds is our home as well as our business and we take great pride in providing our guests with a clean, beautiful and comfortable lodging experience. It saddens us that we did not meet your expectations. Our lodge style building is designed so that condos share only one wall with an adjacent condo and that wall is an insulated firewall. The lower level condos do have another condo above them. There are jetted tubs in the upper condos, not Jacuzzi tubs. We believe you stayed in #16, a lower level spa suite. The condo above was vacant. Quiet hours are posted for using both the jetted and Jacuzzi tubs. If you had called the after hours office number and notified us about the guest violating the quiet policy, we would have politely reminded them of the quiet hours.
There is a small under counter refrigerator in the kitchenette area of the spa suites. We have never had complaints of too much noise from these. I believe the noise you heard was from the boiler near your suite. We became aware that this boiler was making noise and had a plumber scheduled to inspect it. Unfortunately, areas in Estes Park received over three feet of snow and our plumber had to reschedule due to emergency calls. If you had told us about the noise, we would have gladly moved you to another room.
Please accept our sincere apologies. Our goal is to always exceed the expectations of our guests.

This place is run by the nicest people; long time residents, multigenerational family devoted to good service. They can help you with anything to make your stay memorable whether it's a wedding or steak on the grill or time to write your novel. Room styles are varied but decor is just what you expect from a mountain resort. I've been there in snow and heat and never had a difficulty. I found the rooms fresh and clean, they keep adding amenities, updating the furnishings; much more like home than your forgetable motel chains. I will always remember how to get to Aspen Winds.

Spent the weekend in Unit 12 and had an amazing time. The owners were very sweet and helpful. The unit was spacious and clean! The views from the room were breathtaking and it was fun to watch the elk feed right outside my window! The garden tub was huge and looked out over the river - what a peaceful and relaxing place to take a bath! We only spent one night but I could of easily stayed there an entire week! I can't wait to go back!

Stayed at Aspen Winds for a winter weekend (unit 4). Very nice views from condo. Separate bedroom with one king bed, kitchenette and living area. The unit was very clean, and there was a coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave. The only downside was the noise from the next condo.
