Just returned from a three day, two night stay in spa suite 17. Dottie and Phil and their son Ryan (?) did much to make this a terrific anniversary vacation. They went out of their way to give us maps and directions and to make us feel welcome in this wonderful resort. The individual condos vary in amenities - some with kitchens, some with kitchenettes, but we peeked at several and they are all charming.
We had a short power outage the day we arrived and the owners' son found some candles and matches for us and we had a gas fireplace to keep us warm until the power was restored. The issue was off site but they assured us it would be resolved quickly and it was. Although we had great plans for an anniversary weekend, one of us got the flu shortly after arrival so the nice tv, blue ray and Netflix were welcome! We saw beautiful elk on several occasions around the property (none in the National Park!) which made the weekend.
Our only complaint and it is minor, is that there appears to be little in the way of soundproofing between units (top/bottom) and we had lots of clomping by above neighbors who checked in midway through our stay. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Estes Park and hope to return.
